His father was well known for his crusade against both military and government corruption, as well as fighting against many big companies for bribery and other corruption. This made him target for many groups trying to keep the status quo. When Kenneth and his fraternal twin sister Kira were six, his parents were targeted by a successful assassination attempt made to look a terrorist attack. The attack (a car bombing) killed Kenneth's father, mother, eight other civilians, and injured fifteen others. Rumors flew around the capital that car bombing was actual a calculated attack meant to silence a voice of dissent and stop other from speaking out against others. An anti-government group took credit for the attack, though most people know this is a thinly veiled ruse to excuse the deaths. Kenneth and his sister were spirited away shortly there after to keep them safe and away from the world of politics and government corruption. For the next twelve years the two children moved from place to place. The two children stayed close until they went separate ways when they turned eighteen.
