Personality & Traits
General Overview | Generally warm hearted and friendly, Sera does her best to make friends where possible. Though, due to the deep sense of gratitude and obligation that she feels to her employer. She can also be flighty. If someone were to make an enemy of the woman she's pledged her service to, she'll do her best to protect her charge, even if it means having to defend her for a longtime friend. While she can often times seem just a tad ditzy, it tends to be an act, beneath the surface she can be surprisingly cunning. The truth of the matter is, she would much rather someone be at ease around her than feel anxious. |

Strengths & Weaknesses | As a Vish Kanya Sera's entire body is constantly coated in a layer of "poison" while most would assume it to be lethal, it's actually very, very unlikely to lead to any serious health complications on its own, even brief skin contact with her does result in being "poisoned" with a fairly mild hallucinogenic that usually wears off within thirty second to a minute, though prolonged skin contact can cause these effects for hours depending on how prolonged the contact is. The same agent is found in her saliva, though it tends to be far more concentrated. The only strength she can really rely on is her cunning and her ability to "trick" any potential danger in to subjecting themselves to her poison.. On top of that her years of service have made her a surprisingly capable cook.. Beyond those two matters though, she doesn't really have any marketable or particularly useful skills. Made worse by the fact that her poison is completely ineffective against inorganic targets or those with a body incapable of being poisoned to begin with. If her trickery should fail, or her only real "weapon" be ineffective, she doesn't have much to fall back on. |

Ambitions | Outwardly, she would say that her greatest ambition is to simply see her employers own ambition of building a commercial empire come to pass. Beyond that, she honestly just longs to be able to interact with others in a more normal way, or to find a spouse capable of tolerating her poison. | |
Hobbies & Interests | When not around her employer Isabelle Sokolov, Sera finds herself trying to learn new things and skills whenever she can, both to better serve her employer and in the hopes that, perhaps with enough diligence and dedication, she will make herself more useful to any friends she might make. Well, that and studying the effects of her poison so she might find ways to more effectively utilize it, or otherwise temporarily counteract it for the sake of those around her. |
Personal History | Sera's life from a young age was an unusual one, born to her mother Alicia, a woman much like herself, one who by their very nature was a poison and human father by the name of Daniel. Her parents had divorced slightly before she had been born. Though, it hardly made a difference, they provided for her, made sure she was well educated, did all a loving family could do. The issue for Sera was not entirely in her upbringing, after all, her family was, at worst at least middle class. No, the greater issue the young woman faced throughout her life was the sense of isolation. She wasn't allowed to play with other children once her natural defenses started to manifest. In much the same way, her parents couldn't really touch her without some layer of protective clothing. Perhaps it was only natural that from her late teens, when her poison grew more and more potent by the week that she found some sort of release from that isolation in the fact that once rumors spread of her poison and its effects that people were willing to pay her just to touch her, some for the sake of experimentation, some for the sake of the hallucinatory effects, and others just to see if they couldn't overcome the effects and show how physically resilient they were. It was an odd source of income, one that was perhaps morally and legally questionable, though at the time, she didn't think too much of it. It wasn't until her early twenties that she met Isabelle by chance, given her lack of any real talent and the blatant detriment of her abilities, she understandably struggled to find employment, at least, not any form of employment that wasn't uncomfortable and, well, awkward. So, when her strange new friend offered her a job, she latched on to it and has been at her side ever since. Though, she's not entirely sure why someone much, much more capable in defending themselves decided to hire her as a bodyguard of all things. Her hunch is that Isabelle did so for her own amusement. |
