We finally defeated FSF and returned to Earth and were preparing to head off to fight the Swarm only to have them come to Earth. The bugs massacred or injured a third of the Earth’s population and the evacuation ships were overcrowded, full of disease and general disorder. By the time the Federation’s Refugee Fleet arrived at Earth II we lost about half of the Earth’s population. The Federation Fleet Service in shambles from the Faith Special Forces battles and now the Swarms movements caused the government to refocus its efforts and find fault in someone within the government. The newly appointed Senate returned to session and in turn removed President Hukari Carain and her Ministers from power appointing Alion; her Vice President and the famed leader during the War of 4550 as the new President. The majority of the Fleet Service was reassigned to defend Earth II and take an isolationist stance. The Onyx City-Ship was also ordered to remain at Earth II along with the Millennium, Providence and Iris now that Kiru became a Member of the Federation. Lavie being the sole ship in Trinity again was tasked with reinforcing our political situation, making allies and working to eliminate the Swarm once and for all. Yuka Layton was assigned as the Commander of our Task Group but was stationed on the Lavie, Sophie Archer was placed in command of the City-Ship and Lonhorn constructed the DCU-03 Vengeance and gave the mech to the Ino twins… We are in for some major changes in how we operate now especially… With the Federation in War footing however Trinity’s funding and personnel were nearly tripled. The Lavie was immediately refitted and repaired; we are now going to head on our next mission…
Trinity Special Operations Unit was renamed to the Trinity Combined Special Operations Service to reflect its now; more permanent nature in helping to stop the advance of the Federation’s enemies and prevent what happened to Earth from happening to another world. The Lavie was being sent to the Aloris Alliance to get assistance in the upcoming Swarm battles. We still get no leave… Well considering everyone was killed of course we don’t… Well at least we will get time at the Aloris Homeworld to relax… Hopefully.
