Spiders and tigers and gators. Oh my.

Mission: Season 2; Mission 2: It's Only Fun Until Someone Gets Hurt
Location: Briefing Room; Cityship
Timeline: October 20th Late Morning/Early Afternoon; shortly after the attack on the lounge.

 
Remi follows Alister out of the room who leads the group out after there was no questions with the four spec ops officers and the members of team one to the building that the scientist is locked up in.
 
“So... why am I here again?” Kyle asked confused as why he was there. Not fully understanding his position in this.
 
"You can fight." Remi told him.
 
"Still bringing my rifle if possible."
 
Aidan added, "I want to know how and when we go on the offensive. Quite honestly. I am about three seconds from starting to request Nova bombs. War crimes be damned. Get REALLY sick of barely making it through and I need to HURT them and hurt them now."(edited)
 
"Think of it this way; at least we have a chance to do it with this one..." Remi said to Aidan.
 
"Believe it when I see it."Aidan whispered to Remi.(edited)
 
after the test scott grabbed his q-taser and his equipment bag
 
  
“Does anyone have a weapon I could use? I left my duffle bag in briefing...” Kyle stayed then trailed off at the end. Throwing his hoodie over his face, embarrassed.
 
After Scott returns the group makes their way outside the building. the Spec ops team surrounds it and allows them to make entry.
 
 
scott hears kyle question and asks him if he wants an uzi
 
 
“If that’s all you got I’ll take it.” Kyle quietly states turning to Scott
 
Sarah hefts her custom rifle, giving the barrel a loving pat, and adjusting the scope settings idly.
 
Aidan taps a button and he changes into his power armor, complete with carbine, sword, and pistols.
 
 
scott pulls out a couple pistols and clips out of his bag, a kindle sized package he hands to remi telling he to say "activate suit", and a rifle and spare clips for kyle.
 
scott also tosses his sword to the child ceci, and poofs back to grab a pa-lvl1 for sarah
 
 
Kyle gladly accepts the rifle and ammunition and gears himself up. “Th-Thank you.” He quietly thanks Scott.
 
  
Sarah materializes her own suit of power armor, enjoying the additional strength, making her rifle seem lighter.
 
Remi takes the item from the Scott and it immediately downloads its instructions into her VX. She activates the device and it becomes a powered suit over her specially designed by Tessa and Scott. The suit covers her and she pulls out her ODM sword hilt that turns into the full sword as Alister moves to the door blowing it away after the team stacks up on the door.
Ceci appears in the roof of the building.
 
 
 
Aidan uses the pistol in his off hand, and the sword in his primary. He was actually hoping for something would offer the opportunity to disembowel.

Scott stays outside as he isnt a tactical person
 
Sarah stacks up at the door, making sure to be third person in line so she could effectively cover with her rifle.
 
Kyle stood behind Sarah with his rifle up, loaded, and prepped. His face covered by his hoodie, he pulled it slightly back to aim correctly as he awaiting for orders.
 
As the team was stacked on the door Alister points his palm at the door and three of the gems on his belt glow as he closes his eyes. The door is ripped off its hinges and moved out of the way. He sets it on the ground and waits for the team to enter.
 
scott tells the super spec ops guys he will be back in like 5 minutes and poofs to his bunker
 
Upon loooking inside there are boxes everywehere and towers that are levels of boxes. It seems ordered in some way; past the boxes are a bunch of bugs and various animals wandering about.
 
Sarah switched to her professional behavior. It was game time and no time for jokes. She looked about and decided the boxes might provide the best vantage point.
Permission to take the high ground sir?
 
"Take the second level." Remi said to her as she took a position aiming her sword at one of the bugs taking cover by boxes.

Sarah began to head to the next level.

Aidan takes point, being the tank in this operation. He reminded himself to add a few extra grenades to his loadout.

scott in the bunker does a quick redesign of remis suit stripping it of offensive abilities, boosting the defensive capabilities, adds some ssd drives for intel gathering, and holographic diplay/comm terminal, he also adds healing functions for dire situations and has it built
Once Aidan headed forward Remi fired from her sword. It fires a fireball at one of t he spiders.
The spider is hit and explodes.

Sarah takes a crouched position on the second level and takes aim for one of the targets a bit further back. Taking a breath she squeezes the trigger, sending a high caliber round down range.
The spider avoids the attack; the others finally notice there is combat as they didnt really realize what happened to their comrade with it exploding.
Sarah adjusts her aim and fires again.
Aidan pulls a concussion grenade. He tosses it towards the a group of bugs.
(there are eight enemy targets; 4 spiders, a flying snake, an alligator that like spits acid with a head and eyes inside its mouth that flies and two of the tiger things from before)
The spider explodes and instantly killed.
Kyle sticks in the back and fires a couple of rounds at the spiders each.
Three of the spiders lose limbs and start scurrying around in circles with their broken limbs.
Aidan switched to the carbine briefly and  fired  several three rounds bursts at the spider.
The spider was quick and took minimal damage, avoiding the brunt of Aidan's volley.

Aidan turned the visual camoflage and stalked the closest enemy, sword out He channeled his energy into the swing and thought about it burning as he swung and activated the gems. The enhanced sword cuts right through the spider, it loses its legs on one side and is now unable to move or attack as its facing the wrong way.
It starts taking bleeding damage. 
“Just aim and...” Kyle fires at the spiders again, making sure to get rid of the rest of them.
The spider that was hurt just expires. One is hit and the others avoid.
Sarah goes prone on the walk way and deploys her bipod, taking another deep breath she takes aim. Sighting a new enemy she squeezes the trigger yet again sending three high caliber round down range.
One is sniped; two get damaged.

Remi aims for two that are near each other and fires another fireball.
The fireball explodes on her injuring Remi.
Alister enters the battle and heads for a bug attempting to electrify it.
The spider moves out of the way.
Ceci jumps through the window entering the battle. Due to falling thorugh glass she enemy knows she exists.
Two of the bugs attempt to flank Remi and use their turn traveling behind boxes. The tigers head for Aidan and one tries to flank him. The alligator thing flies close to Sarah and attempts to spit acid at her after using its free move to start filling the room with fog of war. The last injured spider guards itself to reduce later damage.
Aidan avoids both tigers.
Sarah avoids the attack.
With both tigers now close it would be hard to miss, he turned off the  camo to conserve energy and swung the sword hard in one then the other direction. 
One tiger avoided the attack while the other was critically injured being caught off guard.
the suit finishes and scott puts it on and poof back to the fight
The tiger has been hurt.
Kyle turns his aim to the tiger and says “Okay, now the pussy.”  And fires a couple of rounds.
Sarah takes aim at the flying creature after hopping up to a crouched position and tracks the beast with her aim. She squeezes the trigger 5 times.
The alligator falls to the ground and is unable to defend itself. Sarah follow up shots permanently remove the alligator as a threat.
scott comms the team just to check in
Remi tries to attack the two Spiders again with the fireball. Alister attempts to attack another.
The tiger avoids
Ceci fires a plasma ball at two of the spiders.
She blows a hole in the spider; it does not die but is critically damaged and will take bleeding. In one turn it will expire.
The remaining enemys attempt to move. They all target remi. The two spiders spew acid and the tiger attempts to claw her. remi avoides the remaining enemy's attacks.
Aidan moves tp strike at the tiger with a huge overhead swing from the sword, gems and all. It hits the mechanimal dead center, killing it.
Kyle targets the two remaining enemies and fires at them with the rest of his clip.

After the attack the tiger attempts to activate its self destruct.
Sarah uses her free action to drop her empty mag and simply slap in a full one, the last round from the previous mag chambered.

She braces the rifle against the railing of the walkway and fires 6 shots in quick succession at the tiger.
  
Ceci's turn; she looks at the tiger and fires plasma at it.
 
 The tiger vaporizes from the shot.
  
Clapping is heard over an intercom. "Thank you for completing the third and ifnal test. We have all the results we need."
"All the results you need... fuck you... come out here you cunt..." Remi yelled.

Remi walks up to the office door in the warehouse. It is sealed. Alister comes over and rips the door off.
 
 
Aidan said aloud. "Don't bother taling to that guy, Probably impotent and this is the only way he gets off."
 
The guy is in here. remi walks in and punches him in the balls and then faceplants him into the desk. "Fuck yourself and your tests!"

Scott poofs to remi and says he's my bitch to deal with
 
The enemy is knocked unconcious instantly.
"Fuck you"
His dick is also gone.
 
Aidan watches the action. Knowing it;s most likely a trick or clone. Though he'd like to decorate the wall with is brains.  "Leave him alive this time guys, though I don't want to."
 
Scott tells cece to lock him up in medical stasis in the bunker for testing
 
Ceci walks in and picks him up; a little girl benchpressing a full sized man... it looked; odd to say the least.
 
Scott had checked itc records and found his file(edited)
 
She brings the man to Scott. "yay!"
 
All targets pacified. RTB sir?
 
He is ITC and he now has a new job title...Guinea pig
 
Ceci disappears with him putting him in a special tube in the bunker.
 
Let's get him a new body and run a few tests....

Alister walks in and shrugs. "Well my team and I will be on our way; considering this was... a special matter speak to no one about this... It didn't happy... meaning no debrief. See you rem-rem..." "Don't--- oh fuck it..." Remi then looks at scott and shakes her head. "So what if he had family?" "We will deal with that." Alister said to her.
"Killing--" "Don't ask what you don't want an answer to." Alister then walks out.

"Score one for us." Aidan offered with a flat tone. He was too jaded after all that had happened to call this a win just yet.(edited)
 
Remi nods ad she calls he rsuit off and back to being a neckless.
 
drinks are on me tonight.
 
Sarah dismisses her armor before heading towards the exit. As she does, Sarah wipes off some dust on the black rose painted on her rifle's stock. "Another day, another kill."
 
Aidan secured and checked his weapons, then changes back to bdu's. His mood wasn't sour. He knew that at least no one was even scratched, but it felt empty, as if they were still the puppets on strings. 
Remi left the group heading off to do her own thing.
