Location: Providence Medical
Timeline: Oct 31, 4566

"Well as I haven't been aboard this vessel before, I believe a escort would be nice. For all the automated guides that are common, I prefer a more....personal touch.", She said a little nervous, her wings idly russling.

Sigmund was watching her through the sensors as he guided them. "I confess I have never met a human with wings. You seem to be unique."

"Oh I'm actually not a human. My race are called Elysians, and I am a Caelisolan. we are genetically different."

"I will make note of that. I am human though, not what you might expect. This is just my imagination of what I would have turned into had mu life been different." Sig offered.

She looked at him curiously, "What do you mean by that exactly?"

"There is a very technical explanation, but suffice it to say, I have a body, but the ship is by extension my body. I feel everything that happens, see eveything inside or outside of the ship. My body is inside the ship in a metal tube and I am connected to everything. Also enhanced by positronic microbrains, so I can run everything easily." Sig offered.

"Wow, that pretty intricate of a system. I've worked on a few of those, as I worked on neural implants, neural interfaces, and AI as part of my job."

"In a way, we are different faces of the same coin. You can fly in atmosphere, and I fly through space." Sigmund offered.

"Admittedly I might be a bit rusty at that. I got rid of my wings so that I fit in amongst the humans.......but that didn't turn out so well. Seems like everything has gone horribly wrong lately.", She said petting a wing as if reminiscent.

Sigmund appeared in thought. "We have large enough hangar bays you could practice and I could be around if you get in trouble." He offered.

"That would be very kind of you, thank you. Maybe after the evaluation if all goes well?", She asked actually sounding joyfully hopeful.

"Of course." he said bowing slightly. "We are here." Sig said. "Just call out my name if you have a question." When she walked in, he disappeared.

She looked sad and disappointed when he disappeared, as she was beginning to like his company. Turning back towards inside the medbay, "Hello? I'm here for the eval."

Sarissa appeared from around a corner. "Sera shall we get started?"

"Oh hello Mrs. Sarissa, yes.", Sera answers, happy to see a familiar face she hadn't seen in a while.

"You look well. Any complaints?" Sarissa asked and indicated the biobed, she wanted Sera to get on.

"They are just like the originals, and as far as I can tell, no sign of rejection. But I'm not trained in medical so I can only go off at a glance."

Sarisa nodded. "Let us take a look." Grabbing a scanner, she made a practiced motion, covering Sera's wings. Putting scans on a larger monitor, she studied them. "I see no rejection. Bloodwork also excellent." shutting down the scanner, she said, "Very promising. I see no reason you can't start limited flight soon."

"Limited flight?"

"These wings still new, and you may be tempted to go on a long flight before the muscles are a strong as you were used to." Sarissa clarified.

"What about,....say.....inside a hangar?", She asked curiously.

Sarissa had to think about that. "I don't any problems other than other obstacles. I would think the holodeck would be first, but with proper precautions....I will allow it."

"Sigmund offered to chaperone.", She said simply with a smile.

"He's more than competant. I don't see a problem." Sarissa said.

(would she be mad if Sera suddenly hugged her?)

(not if she asked)

(Vulcans do not like to be touched because many of them are touch telepaths. It would be like "HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS TAKE THEM!!
(fair enough)

"Um,..this may seem like an odd request,..but can I hug you? I want to as thanks, you've done a lot for me, and I never really thanked you.", She asked in a nervous and awkward manner, her wings twitching from the nervousness.

" I am performing my job and keeping a valuable crewmember healthy. If you must, I will allow it since you are asking. "Sarissa enhanced her mental blocks, preparing herself for the  embrace.

Sera wrapped her arms around the vulcan woman in a warm and firm hug, her wings having instinctively cacooned. "Oh uh, sorry, have to work on control of these a bit more. They still move instinctively some times, but again thank you."

Sarissa nodded. "If you experience no complications, I see no reason to come see me except a quick follow up."

"I will be sure to head right over if anything comes up.", Sera said as she released the woman. "Is there a certain date I should come back for another check?"

"I will send an appointment next week. I just need a blood sample for the lab." Grabbing the tool she loaded a plate and waved it over Sera's arm.  "Thank you for being prompt. We are done."

Ser quickly left, eager to get to the hangar and flex her wings. Stepping out into the hall, she stopped out side the medbay doors, "Sigmund?"
