Breakfast for Two to the Power of Two

Location: DFS Lavie - Lounge
Timeline: October 12th 4566 - Morning

Seph was not in the lab or by Yuka's side for once. She was in the lounge; somewhere she pretty much never went... Scott had told her to meet him here at a designated time. She had heard about Ari and Flan working on mechs and battle suits and wondered if there was anything they could do to help the girls with their projects; if that was even the  purpose of the meeting with her boyfriend...

scott isnt huddled in one of his various bunkers of joy working to make death happen for once...ironically. Hes making a nice meal to share with his girlfriend seph


The cooking staff let Scott ue the kitchen as it was easy enough for them to just replicate peoples meals right now; there was so few people here anyway.

Ari was in her office before heading to the bridge adn the ready room. She thought about the night prior and then after that before she went to bed how Yuka basically punked her. She was confused about where things were with Aidan and Yuka for her to ask Ari to watch them have sex... "What was that anyway..." She asked herself as she was putting the finishing touches on her uniform for the day.



Flan messaged ari to head down to the lounge for chitchat and eats, the message following "hey Ari, come to the lounge, i bought us a breakfast set, I thought we sit and chat about whatever, whether its our projects or something to play around with"


Ari sent a :p response to Flan and headed to the lounge after finishing getting ready.
Seph waited wondering where Scott was as he usually was not late... Did she have the wrong time... She asked one of the servers if they had seen him and they direct her to the kitchen.
She heads there.


Scot manages not to blow up the kitchen making scrambled eggs...like the last time he tried


Flan sits in a corner booth seat, with a large assortments of breakfast foods dressed in her usually white, thick coat and skirt, awaiting, sipping her tea from time to time


She sees his cooking. "Oh... you didn't kill everyone... Um... you made more than usual.. So?" She asked seeing to try to pry into why she was summoned. 

Ari arrives in the lounge as the server brings the juices then leaves Flan to her booth. Ari comes over to her. "Morning..."


"hey Ari.. I decided to buy the breakfast party platter.. I thought we'd sit down and talk abut stuff"


I know we don't spend time together except working on weapons to make bugs and fsf bastards meet the reaper...I figures you want to have a nice meal


"Sure..." Ari said to Flan taking a seat with her on the other side of the booth.

Seph nodded. "Um... I am fine jsut spending time with you as is; you didn't have to do this but thank you none the less..." She kissed him on the cheek and served herself some food taking it out of the kitchen with her waiting for him to follow.


Scott thinks to himself how am I this lucky as he follows seph


"I did find something I bought from kiru when I first joined the lavie.. I thought you might want it.. I have about 2 more, so I'ma give one to Remi as well" flan says as she pulls out a a pink plastic bag with a headband with ears on them inside the bag, and slides it to Ari "I bought a bunch when I was staying in a.. hotel.. thing.. with my boss"


"So you wanna start a maid cafe with girls and cat ears... you know thats actually a thing there I come from..." Ari chuckled looking around making sure no one was watching or listening when she talked about her guilty pleasure. "Next thing your going to start sliding manga under doors from Remi..." Ari whispered teasingly. Seph noticed the Captain and engineer and made her way over to a booth next to the girls interested in eavesdropping. Especially after the rumor she heard about the toys as Scott would call them that the girls wanted to build.


Sneaky sneaky seph scott says smiling at her


"You would do the same..." She whispered to him as she started to eat.


"MAID CAFES!?" flan unexpectedly yelled out loud before looking around in social shame, lowering her voice " I LOVE maid cafes.. I would own one if I could, before I joined the Lavie I REALLY wanted to be apart of one" she spoke uncharacteristically fast and bubbly to ari, her eyes lighting up


"Calm down... damn... what do you do fangasm over fanfics you wrote... damn... like seriously don't shout..." Ari said all hush hush.


I'd think with all I have done to this ship people would have locked me up...as well as the hells I've unleashed to this universe with my weapons. At least I'm no dr hax how has still an active doctor I don't know


"He is and no; I think AIdan and Yuka have done worse with all the sex they have on this s hip..." Seph said to Scott as she just took in the shouting and elation over Flan's joy of maid cafes.


"I don't write fanfiction.. I don't wanna ruin the characters of stuff I like.. I did write little novels.. based off of what I read at home.. sorry" flan said with a lowered, hushed voice


I wonder why flan doesn't just do a maid cafe sim in the holodeck...I'm pretty sure by now the tech is back working


Seph laughed.

Ari blushed lightly realizing the girl heard their discourse. "Well... I-- do... and um... talk about this stuff quietly.... people are here..." Ari said nervously as she took her mind off of this by eating.


Hey flan you want me to make a cone of silence for you


Seph then piped up. "Mizriki you, Lumiere Yumi and Layton run an all girl pop cover band in the lounge... I don't think it gets much more nerdy then that..."


"im just very.. giddy.. I dunno.. maybe its because I.. put a ungodly amount of sugar in this drink" turning over to the last comment "cone of silence? i'm okay..I think.." she replied


"I think i'll take that cloak of invisibility now.." Ari said blushing more.


overhearing seph "that.. is that true?" flan asked(edited)


It was a reference to a get smart gadget that was a little funny
Since it didn't work well I should add


"She does backup vocals." Seph commented to Flan. Ari looks defeated still blushing then Seph says "Oh come on; you think that is going to make you look bad; girl the PRESIDENT is a pop idol... Just sayin..."

"Ari, oh my god, I thought my outburst was bad.." she giggled


flan on this ship...well we are ALL oddballs and happy oddballs at that


"I'm a spec ops covert infiltration specialist who builds weapons and other engineering goodies in her free time..." Seph said.(edited)


i like to make wmds for fun and have a murderous deathbot as a daughter so yeah


"my oddity was that I was sheltered to extreme limits before joining the Lavie."


"I use swords that make me fly... magical girl much..." Seph also added laughing about it.


"i use.. a wrench?"


Ari looks small and even more defeated. "Why are you all talking about this like its normal; everyone will judge you."


"i remember that spider mission.."
"i only had a pistol and a wrench to defend myself"
"I hate spiders now"


Lumi appears. "No; everyone on this ship is actually into most all of the above; you are the 1 percent of experts in your fields... all of you are awkward... your AI was a little girl who was involved in being forced to watch Sakura Carain fuck everyone and their dog then she became a real girl.. this ship is not normal..."


i shot a phoenix with a taser to theoretically kill gods....after that normal just cant happen nor do i care


Ari stares at Lumi


ari normal is overrated when we are the spearpoint in many situations


we need our quirks to cope with the shit we deal with


"usually in social settings im usually a ghost"



"In short you are in a nerds paradise... embrace it..." Lumi said to Ari who jsut continues to stare at her. "EMBRACE IT!!!" Ari blinks at her... Lumi embraces her.


"i think iv'e spent nearly a month on the lavie without anyone but my boss noticing me"


"But Senpai noticed her..." Lumi said to Ari


considering i only iteract with people if i feel like it its not surprising in my case



"Eh?" Ari replied. "Could you let go of me..." She asked. Lumi removed herself fromt he girl.


"i mean she is my boss, so you wouldnt be wrong haha"


and with my database i need to study...yea


"Wait... your saying i'm Senpai... no...--" "Sumire dear." "Oh..."


"study?" flan questioned


As in gut and improve tech for our use


"oh, Ari and I have been working on stuff ourselves.. My project was because the Kiru excursion, with the spiders and i only had the emergency pistol.."


"Scott use to do what Hitomi now does... now Scott is in charge of research."
After Lumi finished this she disappears(edited)

"I was.. a researcher of weapons of sorts back home.."


"YOu know everyone on the ship can open your file and see your last name right?" Ari said to Flan

She was blushing less now.


"that doesnt mean they read it though"


"Those two would... again like Lumiere jsut said everyone here is a specialist... Some are so much a specialist that normal work is actually boring to them; like Scott and Ned..."
"Why else would the man have a BLACKSMITH smithy installed into a warship..."(edited)

"but.. isnt it bad to make.. primal tools?"


"he built my gun by hand."

"I need to teach you some time then and show you the gun he made... its awesome..."

Adar comes into the lounge; the giant wolf then just lays on the floor. People pay no attention to the giant wolf.


"ah.. I have to see this stuff some da-" flan just stares at the wolf



Oh pookie at our resident wolf


"i wasnt aware we had animals on board.."


Ari finishes eating. "You haven't seen Adar yet..." Ari whisles for the wolf. He stands and comes over staring at Flan. He then tilts his head in a communicative manner and as he lets out a sound; a sort of grunt the translator translates it. "Human weapon girl; you have defeated many enemies." "He can understand us; I believe hes like 300 years old..." Ari said and then Adar corrected her with a grunt. "413."
"He can heal people too..."
(All combat stuff is weapons to him becuase they all... are weapons)
"he is Ned's pet." "I belong ot no one."
Seph then comments asking a question "So you two want our help with your battlesuits and upgrading the mecha?"


"i'm not sure about the mecha-- but i was making a sort of battlesuit.."


"And your maid cafe; I know Layton would partake and so would a number of the other girls on the ship..."


"ah-- that was a joke.. maybe i'll do it as a holiday event maybe.."


"Talk to the quartermaster Zoe to have her assign a room fo rit; we have the space."
Seph added
"Now you have the badass magical girl marine who builds things interested in your idea..." Ari teased Flan


I love this ship sometimes and others I worry about my sanity


"I'm not magical; I am just like you Mizriki... I just have powerful swords."


"aah i dunno.. I cant wear anything that ruffle-y in public.."


Ari pokes Flan. "Ha... she got you embarrassed like yo ugot me..."


she retorts blushing "I cant wear that type of stuff in public, i'd feel too much eyes on me.."


"yeah; and everyone stares at my chest all day... why do you think I run around in blouses all day... I've considered just wrapping my chest..." "thats what I do." Seph replied.
"Yeah but you use swords all day" "and?"


"why do you think I wear this thick coat and strap myself everyday..?"


"Well apparently only Lumi likes everyone staring at her breasts..." Ari leaned back crossing her arms and commented.
Seph finishes her breakfast.


"I cant be like that.. its strange"


"I like people I know whom are intimate looking at me... not randoms cause then I tend to get into fist fights..." Ari said and Seph nods in agreement.


and some people arent stupid enough to go looking at people they arent going out with...especially on this ship youd probly get shot or something cut off


"I would happily wall mount a dick for all to be warned..." Ari said.


seph would probly join you...one of the reasons i dont look besides the fact of the fun me and seph have together


"We don't need to remove our clothes ot have fun..." Seph said.


pretty sure its genetically ingrained into guys to cringe at the thought of a dick being cut off...thats a hell of an insult to a guy


"im sure its just a human reaction to cringe at anything being cut off.."


"So we will  help just message us with what needs done." Seph said as she cleared plates.

"Cool." Ari said as she got a coffee and headed to the bridge. She VXed flan that she would see her later.


Seph finished cleaning and nodded at Flan "Pleasure meeitng you... See you later."


ill be back to making death a reality seph i got know i need to make th little bugs regret eath. maybe a kiru spider hybrid?


"Or make a consintrated bugspray..." She said as the two left. FLan also went to engineering
