Separation Part 2

Mission: Season 2: Mission 1: Day after Day
Location: DFS Lavie – Yuka’s Quarters/Aidan's Quarters
Timeline: October 11th 4566 - Late Night

Yuka found a box she had wrapped; it was for him. She sighed as she hadn’t gotten any response from him as of yet. She really didn’t want to go talk to her now ex as it would bring up emotions that she’s trying to hide. She hated herself, Emily, the idea of the relationship and her past lovers. Everyone told her how to run her life and yet all she wanted to do was be with the people she loved; no problems, no relationship drama no nothing she literally just wanted to be with them. She headed to the XO‘s quarters with the box clicking the call button and just standing there even if the door was open; she was again caught without words.


Aidan went to the door. He opened it and saw Yuka. He had a few dozen cutting responses, but decided against it. He simply said, "Yes?"


She without words extended the box out in her hand for him to take.
her face and body looked emotionless but her eyes Showed that she literally had been ripped apart and was barely managing to function.(edited)


Aidan took the box, not wanting to be a complete ass. He opened it. ( what's inside?)


When he opened the box he saw a handcrafted picture frame; it was absolutely perfect the frame itself had every minor detail cared for. Inside of the frame was a picture of his now late family. When he opened it she ordered only half audible words “secon—- month anniversary... doesn’t matter now...” The last part was basically entirely mumbling. She just stood there until he dismissed her, the door closed in her face or something happened.


Aidan to the frame and sat in one of the large overstuffed chairs. He began to sob.


She finally starts to shed tears as well silently but it was still happening as she just stands unmoving outside.


He gets up, wiping the tears on his shirt, finding her still standing there. They locked glances.  His red and slightly moist eyes giving him away. "It's an incrediblly thoughtful gift. Thanks."


“... I’m s- sorry you lost them... it.... I’ve lost; four .... families now...” she turns away and begins to walk away defeated.



She waves Slowly and obviously showing there’s a problem but trying to act like there’s not like she’s just leaving


He grabbed her hand at the last minute. "I'm not ready to give you up. Clearly we both have issues with each other.I just don't know what the next steps are. I feel like I am drowning here." Aidan offered..


“... I... “ she burst into tears and just cried all over him balling her eyes out and still trying to speak through her crying wailing “I don’t want to live without you... I don’t want to lose the only family I have left... I’m angry and sad and... I just want to run away... I want Home back... dad... you moron... Ari losing her... why... none of these people...” she cries out about how long list of people should not have died and so many people close to her have been lost. She didn’t want to lose anyone else... that was the entire reason she fight for the relationship to stay together; not because she thought it would work but just because she didn’t want either of them to run away and go get killed and never come back to die like everyone else.


Aidan shushed as he held her. Letting her come to grips with things as much as he needed to as well. Just not right now.
