Mission: Season 2: Mission 1: Day after Day
Location: DFS Lavie - Ari's Quarters
Timeline: October 12th 4566 Evening

Both girls had had an interesting night and day considering the events leading up to the situation with the Senate as well as the previous evening that they each had. Now that the ship is on its way to its destination and the city ship was prepared to join them after being ordered to do so by the President the two finally had time to do break related things and plus Yuka had not had an opportunity to apologize to Ari for her previous indiscretions. Yuka headed to Ari’s quarters as with everything that happened and considering the time it was she imagined the girl would be in her room by now.

Upon pressing the call button there was a bit of loud mumbling and the door opened itself. She entered to find Ari in a tank and shorts. She was braless and barefoot munching on pocky as she was madly typing into a terminal; her only response to the entrance of the other girl was a seeming grunt to signal that she was currently occupied but to at least acknowledge the existence of the other person. The light of the terminal seemingly bouncing off of her hazel eyes showing a rather long line of code or what would be considered code literally bleeding out of her screen. Yuka approached leaning over her staring at the screen taking her into a reverse hug. “Hey Er-Chan… whatcha doin’?” Yuka asked childishly. Ari Replied shortly thereafter stopping her typing “did you seriously just call me Er? Do you want this to go through your eye?” Ari replied defensively referring to a pocky stick being used as a weapon.

”What you don’t like being called nicknames and I’d rather not be killed by pocky…” 
“ I have a nickname already or are you deaf?” 
“No; more daft than deaf… um… anyway so I want to like apologize for last night because I did just kind a like ask you to come without explaining to him or you—“ Ari stops her as Yuka goes to grope her realizing she has no bra on. 
“Look what you do in your bedroom is your business... I don’t honestly care… and could you not like seriously!?” Ari responded to her groping by attempting to remove her hands.
“But squishy” Yuka said as she groped Ari acting in a carefree manner. Ari sighs
“do you want me to like throw you on the ground and just like constantly squeeze your chest too because you’re getting annoying!” 
“Actually-“ 
“... no I don’t need to hear you… could you just like go away… I am friends with your fiancé you and I don’t really talk very much and honestly you’re kind just my boss so ...please keep your hands to yourself.” Ari said asserting herself.Yuka then retorts 
“well so that’s the thing he and I talked and things are more open now like we are not you know… Basically were taking a bit of a break and so I wanted to bring you to him surprise him because he’s in denial.” 
“... so what you’re saying is you’re trying to set me up with your future husband... that kind of sounds counterproductive…” 
“not if I play too…”
“so you want to take me with your fiancé… Where did you come from like seriously?”
“Just think about it… hot Yuri action followed by an even more hot hunk of male specimen taking the victor as both girls—“ she starts to go into extremely sexual description seemingly being dreaming about describing a very passionate threesome; almost something out of a hentai game. 
“OK I have officially determined you’re insane… eroge games and reality aren’t always mutually exclusive but they also aren’t always realistic either… Plus didn’t you like have your girlfriend from wherever ago… like why do you need me?”
“Because Aidan-San wants to romp you!” Yuka said enthusiastically squeezing the girl tightly.
”... damn like are you horny all the time or did you just like taking so much hikikomori crap that somehow you’ve become so much of a pervert that you were just like be socially awkward to the point where you start fapping in the hallway?” 
“... i’m not that bad…” Yuka said innocently as she attempted to change the subject. “ what are you coding?“ Ari shook her head then said 
“ first could you PLEASE get your hands off my chest…” Ari said as her face was getting a little red just because of the fact that the physical reaction to having someone meticulously fondle her breasts was getting a little too erotic. Yuka smirks  “You look like you like it though…” “Stop… please…” Yuka removes her hands as Ari asked and Ari lets out a sigh of relief her face still red though. “I’m working on recoding the control program for my battlesuit and Judgment… Trying to make them more responsive… Remi gave me pointers on the code and so… Yeah… So you just came here to try and get me to have sex with you and get  your BF to take me… Sorry… but no… He has been off limits since I got here; as much as its flattering he doesn’t want it; so… nope.” “So that is the only reason; don’t you have an SO too though?” “That’s something else entirely… Sarissa and I have a unique thing; I don’t HAVE TO fuck the christ out of her ot show her I love her and she has a husband… I have some friends… Basically I have what I need and you should just like deal.” “Then why did you try to--” “I didn’t make him--... Okay Yuka… Why do you want me with him so badly?” Yuka grabs a pocky and shoves it in Ari’s mouth and then begins to eat the other end but she leads this into a kiss. As Yuka kisses Ari once Yuka spun her turning her around Ari flails about helplessness for a moment going to push her away. Her face was the reddest of reds as Ari glared at her panting slightly due to the hotness that was overtaking her after that. “DUDE… STOP IT!!” Ari demands. Yuka moves to put her hands on the chair Arms and this results in a look of annoyance from Ari as she presses Yuka backwards standing continuing to forcefully move her to her bed holding her arms down still glaring at her as she kisses her again. “Is this what you want; do  you seriously want to fucking force me to… You need to quit… RIGHT NOW!” Ari said nearly yelling with one of her legs nearly against Yuka’s crotch and Ari still holding her hands down staring at her each of them were mere inches from the other. Yuka just smirked and Ari sighed with distaste as she moves Yuka’s hands up to the head of the bed attaching cuffs to them binding her down as she moves her hands down now to Yuka’s sides “Your an absolute moron Yuka…” Ari said to her as she shook her head. “Forcing people… to… That’s not… how this works…” Ari gets off the bed leaving Yuka cuffed there as tears begin to silently fall. “You… can’t just… take people…” Ari disappears into the shared section of the room in the kitchen behind a door as she stared down at the countertop tears still falling… She was being teased and used and she didn’t like that… It hurt deeply as she left Yuka in her room for now.

Aidan pads into the Kitchen, thirsty and a bit peckish after his mild workout and shower. He finds Ari in the sobbing quietly. To himself he silently says, "now what the fuck", but he comes over but not before making short cough to announce his presence. He'd had enough surprises for a while but apparently the news hadn't gotten to everyone he didn't like them. "What's wrong?" he said in a medium tone, trying not to sound hard or soft.
 
When he comes in and she realizes he is there she just shakes her head. "It's nothing... You shouldn't concern yourself with it..." There was redness in her cheeks and her clothes were a little haphasard since she just came in from that experience.
 
"Well, you're my Captain and my friend, so unless that's an order.....out with it. Very few people cry for no reason." Aidan offered, trying not to ogle her since she was clothed in very little. Luckily, the crying was an instant buzzkill.
 
She shook her head no. "Please don't tease me anymore... " She said as she stared at him her eyes basically seemingly mentally crushed. "it's too cruel... between the both of you its just like a game... I can't... I won't be able to stop myself for much longer..." She said closing her eyes to ignore her visual surroundings and not see a younger, hotter version of him.
 
"What the hell are you talking about?" Aidan said, the color running to his face, and his tone getting more aggressive. Then he realized what she must be talking about and said. "Oh,Yuka" in a much softer tone. He took Erin by the shoulders and made her look him in the eyes. "I didn't start this. This REALLY wasn't my idea."
 
She head him and was about to sigh and explain but she was grateful when he caught on. She then opened her eyes apprehensively. "But... You've done it too... you are attracted to me... I know that and... I-- I like you too... with all these games its torture to not just-- and; then her hitting on me... You've already told me I can't... so I'm trying really hard but its hurtful..."
 
"I'm not going to deny I am attracted to you. That's true. Short, curvy stack of...."he stopped himself. "But this is NEVER how I would go about it. Hurting you would be the last thing I'd ever do to someone I care about." Aidan offered(edited)
 
"I... It only hurts becuase I know I can't; you both are a no fly zone and she just keeps going and going... Just like calling me to the room... If I'm honest; both of you would be nice but you two are engaged... I'm not going to be the one to tear you apart."
 
"Were engaged." Aidan clarified. "To be honest, I love her immensely, but I can't satisfy her apparently. I've tried to make it abundantly clear I am only interested in her, but she keeps throwing other people in my face. I don't get. I don't understand it and I don't like it." It was Aidan's that turned away and walked out a few feet from the kitchen, hiding his own silent tears.
 
Ari heard his words and followed him patting him on the shoulder. "I was in a similar situation with Brandon; not with other people but with his fantasies... He kept whining about how he wasn't pleasing me then kept doing strange stuff... I just took it because I loved him and wanted him to be happy... It caused quite a few arguments because he just wouldn't understand that I wanted my needs met too... What do you want me to do; currently I have her cuffed to my bed so she can't cause anyone else other problems right now... Please tell me and I will do as you ask." Ari said in a conforting manner.

"I just don't know what to do. Sharing her isn't something I'd ever sign off on, but if don't, I lose her. I fucking hate it. If succumb to her wishes, at least she hopefully would be happy. Even at the expense of my own, it would probably be worth it." Aidan said.
 
"But sacrificing your own happiness... Is like me closing myself off to the world becuase people are pricks... It does nothing to help you and just makes you worse overall... Sure its for someone you love but don't be like me... Take a stand... If you really never ever want her to touch anohter person make that blatantly clear... As in; you touch someone else were done; forever... period... end of discussion; get where I am going with this... She may want to explore but if she loves you and you tell her no; she will comply even if she doesn't like it." Ari said. She wondered why she was giving him advice on the topic... She was burning her own chances to the ground by doing this but; c'est la vie.
 
"I've already done that. I laid down the law and for a little while, we were good. Emily was a different story, I don't blame her for that." Aidan paused, then added, "which when we get to the root cause, it means she's more in love with her fantasies than she is with me." Aidan said.
 
"I can't answer the question of what to do for you then... I'm sorry for both of us... cause... like this... I won't be able to do this much longer but we obviously can't be together... she has your heart... Even if she is too stupid to understand that." Ari removed he rhand from his shoulder and returned to her room. Yuka still tied to the bed. Ari frees her but before doing so looks at her coldly. "Don't touch me or I'll hurt you." Yuka looks defeated but does as shes told without another word and just gets up and heads outside.
 
Ari just goes back to her work.
 
Aidan sits on the couch with his head in his hands. He wondered if he should confront her again. He did love her. It would be easier if he didn't, but the heart wants what the heart wants. If they were to ever get past this, it would need to happen. "Computer locate Yuka Layton."
 
She’s outside
Yuka enters his room.
“ what’s wrong with you now?” She asked annoyed by Ari’s reaction still(edited)
 
"I don't know anymore. I guess I'm just broken." Aidan said quietly.
 
“... you’re broken; how...”
 
"Because I'm not man enough to satisfy your needs." He said, with hint of anger in his voice, directly as much at himself than anyone else.
 
“... not man—- OK you know what fuck you... just because I have the thought of wanting to be with someone else while we are in bed doesn’t mean you’re not enough it means that I’m interested in seeing went to personalities can do with something have you ever heard of the saying the two heads are better than one while you know what that works in the bedroom to... you even said we are not in a relationship anymore we are dating so you and I are allowed to see other people... and just because someone is with someone else does not mean they take ownership over them as a person! That’s how I feel; I love you but I want to experiment and I want to understand my own body... telling me I cannot even erotically play with friends amounts to the same thing your demanding of me. I thought we had reached a compromise but I guess that your opinion will never change...” She nearly shouted. The shouting caused the door to open and Ari to enter halfway into her rant. She lets her finish that immediately after that Yuka’s body meets the wall. “ be nice” Ari said holding Yuka against the wall by her neck. She then let’s the girl go and Yuka falls to the ground on her ass resting against the wall.
 
"If you want to date and see other people. I'm not going to stop you. I might be a little possessive, sure. After what happened with Carol, how can you blame me?! It's what wrecked our marriage. Maybe I don't understand what you're going through, but you sure as hell don't have a lot of consideration for my feelings right now."Aidan paused. "Maybe we both have blinders on." he added.
 
Yuka grabs her wrist. Ari turns around and glares at her getting her up and begins to roughly grope kiss and fondle her. Yuka winces in pain as Ari actually bites her showing no romance no passion. Yuka whines lightly. Ari releases her again “ that’s what you wanted isn’t it?” She said as cold as ice with fire building her eyes. “That hurt... I don’t want that... where’s the—“ “ The passion, the love, the desire… You’re an absolute moron... what I just did to you is how you make me feel when you do that to me... he wants you now leave me the fuck alone and stay away from me.” Ari turns around and leaves. Yuka considers going after her but doesn’t want to get punched in the face so she doesn’t go after her.
 
Aidan spoke softly. "Go experience life. Pursue you fantasies. You are right, I am too possessive."
 
After that display and Aidan’s words Yuka just sits there nursing her bleeding neck from the actual teeth puncturing her neck. Yuka says nothing just looking sad. “I just... wanted you two... to realize that you like each other and can be what you need...” she finally said after time passes as she looks down at the floor still not moving.
 
Aidan gets up, and grabs a dermal kit from the bathroom and sit next to her, patching the small wound. "It's not something you can force to happen for two people like us."
Once he finished he lightly kissed the area once. "When we separated I was thinking we would date again to get to know each other. I'm not guilt tripping you, just get everything out in the open."
 
“I thought she was into girls too... why does she hate me so much?”
 
"She doesn't hate you, just your behavior." Aidan added.
 
“ and yeah we are going to date but that doesn’t mean you can only date one person… Part of this is for us to find out if we really are what each other needs… at least that’s how I understood it.”
“ that’s why I was trying to encourage her to see you.”
 
"That's a strange way of encouraging someone." Aidan chuckled. "From her description....you tried to force yourself on her. Fair?"
 
“ I wanted to drag her back here to you and have a three-way...”
 
"No." Aidan said simply. "I think I know Erin better than you do. We had that week of ops back on Kiru. You'd be best to let her be a while. Then go apologize."
 
“... I think I’m just gunna go...” she gets up to leave and go back to her room.
 
"You do that a lot. Then call me out the one time I walk away. Just an observation." Aidan said..

 “ of course I do… I was just trying to do something good and everybody hates me for it so I’m just going to go sulk...” she shakes her head as she heads out.
 
"I never hated you." Aidan said simply. "I just want you to be happy, even if it's ultimately not with me. Though that day will suck for me, if it's someone you really want, I won't stand in your way. Since I'm older, I have more experience knowing what I want Yuka. Just the way life is." he added.
 
“ I do love you I just like playing with other people… And that always seems to be our area of contention… I just I don’t understand and I don’t think I will. I know that fact hurts you and that’s why I want you to have your girl next-door... emotionally and romantically I only want you but is far is playing and… Someone like her could be pretty fun... it sounds shallow but basically I have no problem with you and I being romantically together it’s the other stuff...” she said As the door was still open. She just stands at the door because they’re in a conversation now.
 
Aidan offered"Then I guess it's me that's shallow. I don't want to share. I don't consider you my property. For me, I when I love a woman, I give her my entire being. Sharing has never been in the equation for me. Emily was a special circumstance. Maybe I'm the one that needs to grow up. I just don't know anymore." Aidan said, sounding dejected. He added with his head down, "I had this image in my mind. You and mom hitting it off. Our wedding in the longhouse back on Earth in front of my parents.....it's all gone now."
 
“... I don’t think it’s a question of growing up I think it’s a question of values... and I don’t think your shallow… I just… I don’t know I mean like you did say that if I increase my size that I could invite girls and that’s honestly all I really want to do I’m not interested in other men... most of them are pricks anyway and the ones who weren’t are all dead.” Yuka added, “there’s really only a small list of girls I would actually have anyway...well I think I’ll come by later...” she heads out finally and back to her room.
 
Speaking to himself, Aidan said. "If she's going to date, she can't expect me to sit around on my hands." He went back to some light reading before heading off to bed.
