Sumire and Flan's Commitment

Mission: Season 2: Mission 1: Day after Day
Location: Aerowing Shuttle
Timeline: October 17th 4566 Afternoon

It would be only an hour until the team would leave for their next world and everyone was handing over things to Aidan and his team. Sumire had already said everything she needed to say to the Fleet XO and so she was now just back in the Aerowing reading her manga again; the thoughts of what she told Aidan flowing through her head wondering how much Flan would hate her for keeping this from her. She found herself in a difficult place as her lie seemed to be catching up to her; who else would find out her secret and what damage would it do... She finally summoned her XO to the ship. sitting up and putting her manga way waiting for her to appear in her cstomary fashion.


the door leading to the room slides open, as Remi sees the silouhette of Flennel as she walks towards her, then standing before her as the veil slowly lifted as she made her way towards her before saying "You requested me..?"

"There is... something... or rather a couple things we need to talk about... I'd rather you not learn these things form someone else..." Sumire said as it seemed there was something important on her mind

flennel tilted her head in confusion and question and then continues with "what is it?"

"You might want to sit down... i never saw it as much... It is easy enough to hide but others... Well... the only one to have found out... Didn't seem to think it was a small thing..." She said to her.

Flennel then sitting down, giving Remi her full attention "what could it be..?"

Sumire sighed then said "What I told you about my family is true... I am sure you were able to verify as much through your own sources... Same with my adoption by the Rembrants as a security measure... Yuki is my adoptive sister... but I've lied about parts of who I am... You have to understand I just wanted to try to live a more normal life; You know from  your own past how closed down and sheltered the life we lead is... The truth is I lied about my age to get into a normal high school... You know the school I am going to... I'm really 26 years old... To be able to pull off people thinking I am 18 I look pretty good... but the other thing is... I finished all my education years ago as my family hired me tutors and did not send me to a real school... The Rembrants wanted to send Yuki to one and sent me with her; since she had a few months before becoming a freshmen I just altered my identity information so I could enroll there..." Sumire explained.

"I see.. but.. you lied about your situation.. but how is that wrong..? I've never been to a real school either, my teacher was was a underground peddler... But I don't see anything truly.. wrong?" flan replied to her in a slight confusion
"but.."
"you enrolled in a school..?" flennel continued(edited)

"Yeah; because I wanted to feel how normal life felt... and because being sent to the place as just my sister's guardian when she's basically been selected to lead the Rembrants...... Well... I would just be her shadow... even if I am my father's only biological daughter what is also to say he won't just let her lead our colony too... Then what use am I...  In short after all this is over I agreed to travel the galaxy with Seleni; would you come with me? And there is one other thing... I slept with Aidan Thornton... I've only been with two guys and one was just sort of sympathy sex... The other ran away... I just wanted to feel what... -  Who am I kidding... I care about him just like I care about you... but he said he only does mono... I know that is truly what you want from me... So I'm lost; it would be amazing if I could be with both of you... I want to be with both of you actually though I know you guys likely won't be able to agree on that... I'm sorry. I probably should have said this first before I asked if you would travel with me...-" Sumire looked depressed.

"its whatever you want remi.. I'll agree with anything to make you happy.. and ofcourse I'll travel with you.." flennel answers "Iv'e made an oath to you.. I don't want to leave you.. you had others run away, but I'll always be here.."


"... So you don't hate me for loving someone else too... I thought... Usually when I've said that I've been yelled at; I've seen it happen to others here too... The truth is; I might as well be 18... I'm clueless about all of this... a girl losing her virginity at 25... Who heard of that... Never having a boyfriend until then... I've always been a failure... until  you guys... I may have acted better everyone and never wanted to get close but it is actually the complete opposite... I just don't want anyone's sympathy... I'm babbling... thank   you." She hugs her tightly as tears fell on to Flan's shoulder.

(dammit trying to come up with the  best response sorry for taking too long, trying to like, pyramid out the best route)

(its fine; though this is going well... honeslty at some point I might rewrite Remi's bio as a result of all the stuff that has happened to her;; shes changed a lot form the initial closed off girl she was at the start of marsia)


"nothing I do or act is from sympathy.. I don't really like what you did with aidan.." flan's hug becomes tighter around remi "but it makes you happy.. I'm not gonna stop you from being you.. so you can do what makes you happy.. other people would probably hate you.. but I don't care-- you're more than just a relationship or someone to be with.. thats why I took my oath.." she says hugging remi in comforting her

Sumire felt Flan pull her in closer while she spoke. "I don't want you to think I'm unfaithful or that I don't care about you... I want to be your everything... I too believe this is more than just a relationship... I just also believe that one should be allowed to love who they love... Of that makes sense... Thank you for not judging me based on that... I want to make  you happy too though... and I want us to save this doomed galaxy together." She kissed her looking her in the eyes as her tears stopped the last arrant tear falling; there was not lust in her eyes... Only love and compassion.

she falls into the kiss and gets somewhat lost into her passion-- but returns to say " I won't judge you for your wants... and in the end.. I am happy.."

"Together forever..." Sumire says as her look seems to fill with confidence.

"forever.." flan says wistfully back
