A Moment of Rest

Mission: Season 2; Mission 2: It's Only Fun Until Someone Gets Hurt
Location: Murasashi; Selani's Quarters
Timeline: October 19th 4566; Afternoon

After the annoying chat with Thorn and the rest of her day Remi wanted; no needed to be elsewhere. She had went to the training room and with her new sword was attacking test targets though in her ferocity and putting most of her remaining energy into her training she realized she needed to stop. She took a seat on one of the benches in the room and made her uniform and sword disappear. Her normal clothes appeared though her hair was still black and long. She caught her breath and closed the box where the sword and gear was putting it away. She then lays on the bench "I think I overdid it..." She lays there still barely able to move; she was exhausted and her heart was still pounding seeming to struggle to keep up. As she rested though her heart rate went down; she now understood why the doctors told her not to return to work... Sex and casual fun was one thing but she couldn't be relied on to save people in this physical state; if she could barely handle her own training.

Seleni returns the drawing pad and pencil back aboard the Murasashi and sends Remi a VX if she wants to go to a onsen or a sauna to relax.

Remi; too tired to really move just teleports herself to Seleni's location taking a moment to steady herself when she appears. "I need to relax... apparently after heart surgery the doctors are not idiots when they tell you not to work after..."

Seleni sighs an gently guides Remi to the living room couch for her to sit down on.

She sits as told to. "Why the sigh?" She asked.

"You remind me of myself long ago. Eager to work and prove yourself to the world." Seleni says with a smile.

"No; its I'm pissed... people should listen to me; I'm not stupid... I needed to let off some steam... and overexerted myself in the process. Earlier though Hikaru did tell me to take a nap; maybe I should have listened."

Seleni gently pats and leans Remi against her. "Just rest. Nothing will bother you here." Seleni says soothingly.

"I do like the idea of that bath though... We should go... Just give me a few minutes then we can do... If I pass out in there just make sure I don't drown myself like an idiot... That would be silly..." She laughed at the thought of her own demise by being killed by drowning in a hot bath; a bullet wound to the chest didn't kill her but water could.

"I won't" Seleni says letting Remi go.

Remi pulled her into a hug.

Seleni gently pats her again and hums a soothing tone.

Remi pulls her on to the couch and just leans her head on to her shoulder. She slows her breathing and finds contentment in resting like this. The two stay like this for a little bit.

Seleni continues to hum and embracing Remi as she rests.

After she rests for a bit Remi asks. "So where is this bath... I actually didn't even know that these ships and the city ship had onsen"

"I have something similar. It's not the same but it works." Seleni says. "This part of the Murasashi is my little private corner of the universe."

"Just like my little virtual mansion... Welll.... lets go see it..." She said.

Seleni smiles and guides Remi to the rather spacious bathroom aboard the Murasashi.

Remi undresses and ties her much longer hair in a bun putting a towel around herself and enters.

Seleni undresses and wraps herself in a towel also.  "Most ships don't have this kind of luxury" Seleni says. "But when you're stuck in a construction yard for 5 years just so they can fit something in, well, this happens."



"Sounds like my kind of situation... I suspect my father is going to give me a ship; complete with things like this... After all; they tend to treat royalty differently..." She said as she sat in the bath. takinga moment to breathe in some of the steam.

Seleni joins Remi in the large tub. "Usually those ships are more for show sadly. If you ever need a command vessel, I'm always free."

"That would be lovely actually... would give team one a sword to also show once they finish fixing the Sashi's weapons." Remi moved closer to her and also pulled her close. She just holds her.

"Everything's fixed and ready to go. Only concern is fuel and ammo." Seleni says rubbing Remi's back.

"My father's fleet can provide both those things along with some crew." Remi said as she looked over Seleni. She had a thought but wondered if it would be appropriate considering how she saw her more recently.

"Having a crew would help. But most of the things here are written in another language, so training will take awhile. That and the fact I carry something.....special." She says.

"You yourself... or is there something else you have on here?" Remi asked as she then considers her thought and voices it. "So... I see you like a sister but... I feel like... Well; its different from Ari; I think I'm also attracted to you..." She said honestly.

Seleni looks at Remi for a moment then gently taps her nose, saying, "It has been awhile since I've been around people who actually care about me, but would you regret this relationship? Especially later on in life."
"As for the special thing......Only Yuka, Aidan, an Ari know I believe. Letting too many people know runs the risk of security breaches. I've made sure that no one except certain people have access to that portion of the ship." she adds.

"I am polygamous... Both of my current partners are okay with that arrangement; Flennel and Aidan. My father will at some point force me to choose though as people don't exactly look well upon their queen  having multiple partners...Like I told   you before when I agreed to travel with you when this all was over I honestly thought father chose Yuki like the Rembrants did...."
"and that still remains to be seen; if I am just going to be his military leader..."
"in the place of my brother who died"

"You might be but there is still Hitomi that I have pledged myself too" She says, glancing at the door.

remi nodded. " I see.... Well... I said what I think; thats really what matters."

"Hit me if you will, but since she currently carries my child I can't help but wonder if she's taking care of herself properly." Seleni says, sighing.

"I know very little about her due to how closed off she is; so I can't help you there... Probably the best person to talk to  about that would be Andrew Weaver; her boyfriend."

"Hmm"Seleni says. "Anyways. What will you do with the fleet, Admiral?"

"No idea; probably fight the bugs." Remi said.
Remi eventually relaxes to the point of passing out.

Seleni wraps an arm around Remi and pulls her close. "Would you like to stay here for awhile longer?" Seleni asks.

She barely conscious just leans against her.

Seleni laughs and gently gets Remi out of the hot tub and wraps a bathrobe around her. She then dries her and carries her to her bed and lays her down.
