Sumire's Emotions and Sera's Realizations Part 1

Mission: Season 2: Mission 1: Day after Day
Location: Aerowing Shuttle; Crew Area 1
Timeline: October 17th 4566 Nighttime

Sumire was in the second sleeping quarters laying on one of the cots with a bottle spinning it around in her hand considering drinking the contents. She had her shorts and pink short sleeve shirt on the ground only in a spaghetti string tank top and her panties barely having her lower body covered by a blanket. She wondered if she could avoid a hangover by drinking now, passing out and waking in time for the mission. She then said to herself. "Yeah daddy's little princess who can't even convince some thousand year old soldier to not practically put a gun to all our heads... What am I doing here... maybe the ass is right... between the three of them maybe I need to just stop.... Maybe what Philips said to Sera was wasted on her and actually should apply to me..." She rolls over toward the wall and opens the bottle beginning to drink from it.

Sera had still been sitting and drinking her tea since the briefing's conclusion. Setting the cup aside, the angel realized she hadn't seen Remi for while. This worried as it usually meant something was up. Getting up from her chair, Seraphina decided her first stop would be the sleeping quarters. Stopping at the nearest room, Sera knocked on the pneumatic door, "Remi? You in there?"

Hearing the muffled voice through the door initially she did not realize who it was. She really didn't wan tot deal with anyone right now except maybe Flan or Sera. She replied to the female voice. "What; what do   you want now..."

"It's Sera. Everything alright? You've been quite since the briefing.", she replied back.

"Ha... quiet... yeah... um... no Anyway if you want to use the otehr cot the door is open... I'm decent... enough..."

Seraphina opened the door after a moment and stepped in. She examined Remi in her current state with a look of concern. "Is everything alright?", she asked again after letting the door close.

Remi sat up as one of the spaghetti strings fell to the side of her shoulder. "If I were alright would I be dressed like this... drinking..." She shrugged. There was a pained look in her eyes.

"No, but I'm hoping you'll tell me what's wrong. I want to help if something is bothering you.", Sera said as she came to a kneeling position before the couch.

"Come sit on the cot..."


Sera did as asked and took a seat on the cot next to Remi, "Who is him?"

"Kyle... to put it bluntly he talked a bunch of crap... apparently he doesn't approve of me for whatever reason... maybe if you don't approve of someone you shouldn't try sleeping with them..." She said drinking.

"I will admit he's changed a lot, he's not quite the son I remember. And I am scared to know what has made him this way.", Sera said idly not liking what it sounded like had been going on.

"What did he say exactly that he didn't approve of?", she asked refocusing.

"Basically I'm a whore princess who has no brains and who doesn't know what shes talking about... Am I a whore?"

"No, you are not a whore. And I believe what he said was wrong. Both in legitimacy and in his behavior.", Sera answered.

"...He ran off after I hit on and had sex with him... then that happened... He seems to think I'm like some royal girl he was with in his past... Basically he fucked up and went too fast on me; I told him to stop... things got emotional and he ran away... then when I tried to talk to him he babbled nonsense about how emotions are worthless... love is meaningless... I wanted to punch his lights out but instead I hurt myself... and offered for him and his daughter to join me, Flan and Seleni on our journey when this is all over to just explore space in peace and live our our lives... I haven't heard back... speaking of.... would you like to come with us when this is all over and done with?" She asked setting down the liquor

Seraphina wasn't sure which part to answer first. This was a lot of information to process even for a scientific mind like her's.

"I would love to.", Sera answered the question first before asking her own, "What do you mean he went too fast?"

"... He... Maybe I shouldn't talk about a boys sexual behaviors with his mother... sorry forget I said that..."(edited)

"He hasn't treated me like one lately.", Sera admitted sadly, "As I said before, he's not the young man I remember. He was shy and frightful back then. Same age as you, with most people being frightening to him. Especially girls."


"That's something too... Um... I'm not 18... I lied about my age to be able to enter high school to protect my sister and try to learn what a normal life is like...  Anyway... He was too rough and too fast... he... for one there was like zero passion; it was like I was like just a dick sleeve to him... and... well... it felt uncomfortable so I told him to stop... I tried to talk to him about it and he... ran away with things got emotional."
"Its like he fears expressing emotions... earlier when he cried I tried to consul him... he pushed me away and like blew up at me..."

"Wait wha-waht? What do you mean you aren't 18?"

"I'm 26."

"O-oh, wow that's a surprise. As for his emotions I don't know. I just don't understand what changed him.", The angel said moving some hair out of her face before continuing, "When I brought him home the day he arrived. I told him why I had my wings removed, and....He ended up stabbing himself in the arm with a fork. He's just so violent, especially to himself. I'm scared I'm living with a shell."

Sera took a moment as she felt conflicted over the matter. She loved Kyle like a son, but more and more evidence was stacking up that all said the same thing... Her son was gone. "I'm sorry, I should be helping you, and here I am sitting and crying. I don't know what to do."

Remi pulled her close. "It's fine... Its like I explained to the others... I may be with multiple people but I am with all of you for the same reason... I want to love and care for each of you... so cry if you need to... I'm just glad you aren't going to run away cause I lied to you... and you listened... Thats all I want... That is all I need..." She then kissed her lovingly and just held her there.

Sera hugged her back, tears running from her eyes. She was so lost on what to do. The kiss left a warmth on her lips, and she all but broke down in her arms.

Remi patted her. "I'm sorry... I wish there was something I could say to your son to bring him back to you... Just know I won't run away... I'm not going anywhere... and I think... his daughter might be interested in meeting   you; she was pretty shook up by his reaction too..."

"...........What. who's daughter?"

"That girl... with Kyle... he more or less hinted to her being his daughter when he was yelling at me... You didn't know he had a child?"

"N-no, I didn't. I asked the briefing,...b-but he said she was a friend. I didn't....think much of it, as I thought he found a girlfriend. What is going on?"
Sera was so conflicted by this. What did she even know anymore about this man.

"He said to me he had 20 something children and five or something partners... well wives... I dont know how many other people he has been with..."

"I shouldn't be surprised by this. But the fact he didn't tell me. I'm a fucking grandma.....", Sera said just trying to adjust to the idea.

"I think... you should... just drop everything... and relax with me... we have a room to ourselves... I am not trying to change the subject but even if we just lay together... do something to release tension... both of us have had quite a day..." She said.

Sera renewed the hug, and held on to Remi. She seemed like the only constant right now, and she needed that. Everything had been flipped on its head in a ten minute conversation. "Yeah. Yeah, I would like that."

"its all uncharted ground from here... especially with people knowing my secret... my thing is minor compared to all the rest of this though... Hopefully things will work out though... Anyway... time to forget for now at least." Remi said as she pulled the blanket over them and kissed her.
