The Hell That Is; Part 2

Mission: Season 2; Mission 2: It's Only Fun Until Someone Gets Hurt
Location: Aerowing Shuttle/Infernum XI
Timeline: October 18th 4566; Afternoon

 
As the group nears the old prison the prison's sniper sets herself up to cover the team upon entry. Once the group gets closer the other guard points out the abandoned prison building. Remi looks over to her team. "Well... lets go get our parts... something tells me this is going to end up like last mission... Nothing is apparently peaceful anymore..." She then heads forward leading the group into the abandoned building.

 
Azazel’s expression was a false smile as he was covered by a helmet. Holding the rifle he was given in his hands. “Peaceful? Well that would be delightful if we could. However now it seems like we will need to take more, hostile actions to get things done.” He said joyously.
  

Aidan kept the LMG at the ready, held higher into the air. The only thing to do now was to keep an eye out. He set his helmet to a mutli-view, overlaying IR, and UV with motion dectectors and any passive mode he could.

 
Seraphina kept close to the others, uneasy with the building. She remembered the last time she'd been in a place like this. She had the pistol in hand, but the hand shook. She didn't want to admit, but she was scared.



As they entered the main corridor of the prison an impact is heard; the round was cloaked somehow. Remi was pushed back; then a second found before she could even respond the girl falls to the ground. She was shot in her neck and her chest. The rounds landed in the pavement floor. There was shock and pain in her eyes as they sort of glazed over as she was losing consciousness. Her VX reports the medical emergency and its nanomachines at least keep her from instantly being killed. The suit administers pain medication and its emergency sealant to stop her suit form decompressing and killing her due to lack of Oxygen as it did not register that they were in an atmosphere now (the prison has life support).


Azazel noticed Seraphina shaking and lagged back a bit and rested his hand on her shoulder. “It’s okay Seraphina, you’ll be fine.”


Sera jumped as Remi fell, and dove for the nearest cover. Shit, She wasn't ready for this. She wanted to call out to Remi, but fear seized her voice.


"Crew down." Ayasha nearly yelled into the com as she moved forward. Aidan used the tricorder to try and triangulate where the shots came from. Something that should be easier with two of them. There would be a reckoning.


By the time he was able to scan there was nothing there. From an understanding of the bullet hit points though they were on the third level and shot form a catwalk.

Azazel attempts to figure out where the shot came from raising his his rifle, “It’s show time.” He said chuckling.

 
Remi starts to bleed out in her suit as the level of damage is something beyond what the VX's nanomachiens can handle.

  
"Take cover. Burst com only." He pulled and lobbed a grenade at the third floor.

The sniper though they could not be seen getting a nade nearly hitting them they fall back.

 
Ayasha reached Remi and plugged into Remi's suit to help stablize her.

 


Sera aimed the pistol over her available cover, wondering when the next shots would come.


Remi is stalized as she is at -8 HP. She stops bleeding out and is unconcious. She will need emergency medical care though.


Azazel Grabs Remi And Pulls her behind cover and then peeks out again and pops a shot at the known enemy.
 
scott calls ceci we need help sorry if you have to lose the skin sweetie

 
Ceci takes one of the watch VX's from the shuttle and grabs a giant gun; almost as big as her. She then teleports herself into the prison.
 
   
The scan reveals the prison has atmosphere. Ayasha pulled a section of the armor off and her own gloves. Pulling tools out she keeps working feverishly on Sumire.

The sniper evades and continues to run away.


Aidan moves to an area where he can reach the second floor and starts climbing as he triggered his stealth mode.


Azazel stays put and attempts to spot any issues he can fix at the moment medically. Turning to Seraphina, “What’s the plan?” (edited)


"Drop ship inbound." Hikaru Ino brought down the shuttle hard, flying towards the building, he heard the call for aid, and had been inbound for a while, so it really was one of those once in a life time dramatic entry's that you only get once. Which means he only had one chance to speak over the radio and sound cool. He waited until he could bring the shuttle craft in low, finding them in a building, he simply slammed the rear of his ship through the wall of the building to the newly designed drop point. "greetings this is your pilot speaking the weather outside is hostile, and the local time is get the fuck out of here o'clock over."


Seraphina searched for the attacker
Seeing a the figure she fired her pistol

Aidan gets to the second floor and crouches down, in stealth mode. Turning up the acoustic mode, trying to hear the enemy, the LMG at the ready.


As the shuttle flies into the building its structural integrity is damaged and its atmospheric seal broken. "Warning atmospheric depressurization in progress." As the shuttle comes in it smashes into the catwalks ripping them off. The sniper tries to jump as the airbridge falls.

The sniper falls form the third story as he is shot and smashes into the ground with a thud.


Azazel quickly turns and fires at the sniper, “Die you commie bastard!” He said with a laugh.



The sniper is killed by gunfire as he is unable to defend himself due to being critically injured.

 
Aidan reached out and trying to jam his hand into the wall to slow him down.
 
Aidan takes three damage from a rough landing.

 
The prison guard whom was hiding during the battle comes up and sees Hikaru "More Trinity soldiers... where do you people come from?"

 
"I came from the call for Evac, now where is the injured." Hikaru said.


"I can't believe I just shot somebody." Sera said. 

 
Azazel lowered his rifle as the man came out, “Arrived to retrieve some components. I assume you work here?” He said joyously as he walked over and stomped in the head of the sniper. (edited)

 
Remi is in the middle of the room behind Hikaru with Ayasha treating her.
The guard points behidn him.

 
Sera is horrified as she watches her son do such a violent act.

 
Azazel whips around and raises his rifle unsure of what’s behind him, while he also jumps back.

 
"I came in with you guys..." The guard points out ot Kyle

 
 "Move." Hikaru pushed past the guard, walking up to Remi, he sighed at the current state of her. Far different than what he had just been dealing with a few hours prior. He moved slowly down, moving a hand towards Remi. "Stand back, I haven't actually done this before." His eyes glowed a soft blue and a moment later he was encasinng Remi in ice. A little light headed he stood back.
 
Aidan uses the com loudspeaker. "This bullshit is over. THe next son of a bitch that takes a shot at us, I am going back to my ship and glassing the area. We aren't the enemy, but if you want me to be, I can sure oblige. Surrender now. I won't ask twice."

 
A laugh comes over the prisons intercom. "Oh pet... you see but you are the enemy... my master wants your liver as his next dish; i have to oblige you see... When my master gets angry he gets very violent... violent enough to destroy worlds.... Now please go into the next room and witness my next gift."
Hikaru manages to put remi in a form of cryogenic stasis.

 
Azazel kept his rifle ready and scanned around to see if there was anyone else in the area that he could see that wasn’t apart of the original crew. When he saw Seraphina’s reaction to him. He forced himself to not give a reaction as he didn’t want to get off topic.

When the loudspeakers came on he chuckled, “Alrighty then, let’s get that one too.” He said joyfully and with propriety.

 
Ceci goes into the next room and three bugs are inside; they screech at her only to get a rocket in their mouth.

 
"just gonna put this out here, we could grab remi, get in the shuttle, and blow up this place as we leave."
 

Sera slowly comes out of cover, a bit jumpy, the gored corpse in the floor not helping.

 
Ceci throws the gun to the side and jumps on top of the bug "BAD BAD BAD!!!!"
The girl attempts to punch through the bug.
 

Aidan pulls out his jeweled sword.

  
The bug bucks her off.

Sera fires at the bug

 
Charging the enemy he attacked the nearest one.

 
The prison guard looks at Hikaru. "Um... let me help you load her... this probably isnt the safest place for a cryofrozen person to be."

 
Azazel just watches as they struggle to fight off bugs. He sighs quietly inaudible and fired at the bugs.


The prison guard helps Hikaru move Remi

  
The sniper finally is able to get a view inside the room and attempts to snipe a bug
 
 
 
The bug fails to dodge in fact he walks into her sniper bullet

 
Azazel unsatisfied shoots another.
 

 
The bug loses an eye.

 
Sera switches targets

 
 
 
The sniper takes aim and fires at the bug again
 
She hits the bug again
 
The bug is killed.

 
Azazel pulls out his scimitars and dashes for the big slashing at it.
 
The bronze swords shatter as they hit the bugs hard skin.
 
 
“I’m tired of all these motherfucking bugs in this motherfucking room.” He says laughing hysterically then just firing into the bug that broke his swords.

 
The bug is killed by Sera
 
Seeing Kyle's swords shatter. he whips the LMG around, walking up the bug and giving it a 20 round burst.

 
"standing by for lift off."

 
The bug is killed by Kyle then overkilled by Aidan; it lieterally becomes mush.
All enemies are dead.

 
The guard gives Hikaru permission to depart with the injured.
Hikaru soon finds the Providence in orbit
 
Azazel Grabs one of the bug corpses and fires more rounds into it not saying anything before turning around and leaving with a poster that screamed anger, though looked like he was happy.

 
Sera still shaking, dropped the empty mag before trying to slide in a fresh one. It took her a few due to her unsteady hands.

 
"Still here coward. You're next." Aidan said over the loudspeaker.

 
The voice over the intercom laughs and clapping is heard. "Okay... you get your computer components now... but would you like a bonus round to face me..."
"Oh so you do... hahahah!"

 
"You assume we plan on stopping once we kill your pets and not come after you, you spineless fuck." AIdan replied.

 
“With pleasure.” Azazel said with his joyous tone. “Just tell me where you are and I’ll be there in a jiffy!” He said happily.

 
I'm not ready for this I'm not ready for this I'm not ready not ready
She fucking hated this.

 
"I'm going to kill you, grind your body into flour and make bug muffins out of you." Aidan offered, completely honestly.

 
 
Azazel stopped and turned to Seraphina and grabbing her by the shoulders, “Mother! It’s okay, it’s okay.” He said in his normal tone as he use to speak with her.

 
She jumped at the sudden touch, but calmed down a little bit. Her eyes trailed over the blood splatter on Kyle's armor.
"I'm fine now I think."

 
Once they move to the next room the find the computer that they were supposed to pick up. Its still hooked up to the intercom; so this guy was in here. There is one more door and its unlocked. Ceci follows them "Bad man must die... He hurt daddy's friend...."
The andriod little girls hand turned into a plasma gun.

 
“You don’t need to be fighting if you don’t want to Seraphina. Get to the shuttle if you want to, you don’t have to do this if it’s too much...” He turned and saw the girls and covered Seraphina with himself aiming his rifle at them unsure of what was going on.

 
Aidan takes point,the LMG at the ready, set to its fastest firing mode.

 
Ceci goes with him and as the two enter the next room a man in a dress shirt with slacks and suspenders is standing there with a belt full of gems on. "Hello Mr. Thornton... did you like my game... our master has much much more in store for you... this is only the beginning you know."
"It seems Lady Sumire couldn't handle how hot my sniper was..."

 
"Fuck your game and fuck you." He said simply.

 
he laughs
Ceci fires a plasma ball at the guy
  
He is hit right in the chest and a hole is left in his chest.
He just looks down and then falls over dead.

 
Azazel stared at them as he cracks every knuckle and joint. “Okay, I’m good now.” He said calmly smiling as he slowly stepped forward to the man dead and loots his body. 

 
"God damn it. Let him run his fucking mouth for two damn seconds!" Aidan said, pissed though you couldn't see the red through the helemt.

 
Sera walks over to the computer and begins to dismount it from where it was hooked up.

 
Aidan offers. "I'd check it for traps." he said backing up.

 
A swat team enters from the prison. Finding all the enemies dead. The captain they met before in teh black armor comes up to Aidan. "Well... Seems we got here a little late in response to your distress call."


She worked quickly to get it ready as she used the distraction to stay calm, avoiding eye contact with what was left of the body.

 

He walked up to the Captain. "Yeah funny how you arrived after we were in danger and then took care of everything." He pushed past him making sure to bump him out of the way. (edited)


Azazel takes the broken firearm off of the corpse and stomps his head in for extra measure. “Well today has been fantastic! What a great way to relieve some excess energy.” He said joyfully.


Ceci takes the gem belt to give as a gift to her father and her hand turns back to normal. She hten follows Aidan out full on bumping the guard OUT of her way
The captain stares at the small girl... how did she do that.


Sera clutches the computer they came for, ready to leave. "Can we p-please go now?"


Aidan turns and pushed Kyle forcefully against the wall. He yelled "Stop that!" (edited)


Random guard on the shuttle beams the computer and the team back to the Aerowing. "Sir the DFS Providence is in orbit and requesting we land on board.


“Just making sure that he doesn’t come back sir.” He said happily, extending out the broken weapon. “I’m sure this might be something, not sure what, but I’d keep it if allowed.”


"If you do that again, I doing that to YOUR head. Do I make myself clear Mister Dee?" Aidan said (edited)


Sera still holds the computer as she rematerialized, and quickly moves to stow the item.


“I personally don’t The the issue, but as you say sir.” He said looking dead at him.


Once that's done she wrenches her helmet off as if she's struggling to breath. This was almost as bad as that day in the desert when she'd almost gotten eaten by a giant sand worm.


"I am already beyond pissed, we have wounded, and you're fucking around. That's my issue. Get some real swords for Christ's sake." He said to Kyle. (edited)


“I’ve been assaulting the enemy when I see them. Making sure all are dead when I do so, never know if they might come back. Speaking from personal experience sir.” Azazel responded, glancing over at Seraphina, “Any orders sir?”


He asked the techs. Do we have what need?" Aidan asked.

"Good, let's get the hell out of here." Aidan said. He VXed the shuttle as asked for an update on Sumire..


A girl who was not in here before nods. "You do have what you need but you have something else... I brought you the other thing... two planets form hell is enough for you guys." The blue haired twin tailed blue eyed girl in a black coat said.
The Providence informs Aidan that Sumire is in emergency surgery.


Azazel tries to shove Aiden off, but Aidan stands firm, he then walked off to the other side of the room and waited for orders with little to nothing have affected him. Or at least from what he was showing. “I’ll follow your orders then sir.” 

 
The newcomer pulls out a book and looks at it marking something with an old fashion pen. "You have all the parts for the psyonic device."

 
Seraphina moved quickly to get out of her armor, feeling less boxed in without armor encasing her body anymore. Stowing her weapons, She looks for someplace quiet and not filled with bodies. She would be remembering this for a few nights to come.

The Aerowing heads back to the Providence.
 
Aidan eyes the newcomer with suspicion. He had enough for one day but someone, somewhere was going to pay. There is enough shit in this universe. Time for the right people to start dying. (edited)

 
Azazel hopped out of his power armor and left his gear he was given there. While keeping the broken swords. He followed behind Seraphina, his expression was fake and smiling. Obviously not completely content with how the day went.
