Mission: Season 2; Mission 2: It's Only Fun Until Someone Gets Hurt
Location: DFS Providence; Shuttlebay, Medical and Aidan's Quarters
Timeline: October 18th 4566; Evening

The Aerowing lands on the Providence and is unloaded. Everyone heads off their own way. The new girl finishes hooking up what she can without the parts at the cityship; though Aidan had not spoken to her it seemed she was most definitely a scientist of some kind.

 

Aidan commanded his Armor in the Mech lab for repairs. Then did the same with his weapons, he would take care of them later. He was in his BDU's, looking professional if a bit miffed. He headed to Medical. 

As he headed out and she finished her work the girl tried to follow him but was stopped by security as they didn't know who she was.

 

Aidan turned noticing the small commotion behind him, he walked back. "I don't mean to be an ass, but who are you and why are you following me?"

 

"I'm Norelia Tessa; the Architect... I am the EU's scientist... I'm sorry about Miss Rembrant... I wanted to help but... I can't fight... She is Dr. Johnson's friend and well he works with me. I wish I could have just stopped it... I hope me finishing the rest of your teams mission will be at least a partial repayment for my being unable to help and my giving you a larger fleet." (The cityship fleet we talked about Nore created it)

 

Aidan had to think about his response so as to tame the smartass hiding right behind his tongue. "I am glad someone is helping out. Is there something I can do for you?"

 

"I wanted to know if there was something I could do to help you... and her. I use to be a Human before I joined here and had a husband and a daughter... I know what it is like to lose someone close to you and I would not like that to happen to  you or your people... Even if my superiors have a rule about noninterferance I can't just stand by and watch more and more die especially when the Phoenix is something we should have killed long ago even before Gainz became involved."

 

"Damned straight."  Aidan said, thinking over the offer. "Fine, walk with me."  He reached over and grabbed a visitor's ID and handed it to her.

 

Nore follows him. For a small moment it seemed like she was smiling but then her face became emotionless oncemore.

 

They reached Medical in short order. Aidan waited for the Medical staff to notice him. It would be obvious why he was there.

 

One of the nurses tells him that Remi is still in surgery; thankfully Dr. Petell was in the Providence following up on some things so he was personally handling her surgery.

 

"You said you can help. How?" Aidan asked Nore.(edited)

 

"I can help create weapons to fight and my guard robots are things I build myslef I could snd some with you guys... i myself cannot fight as I don't know how... I am a biochemist, doctor and technology tinkerer... War really is not in my skillset."

"I can heal her though if you want?"

 

"I would be grateful. We can talk about the other items later."Aidan said.

 

Nore nods as she walks up to a door; her clothes magically change into surgical gear and she enters. She walks up to Petell whom was working to repair Remi's heart; the neck injury was easy to fix but this was more complicated. She puts her hands over the wound as the surgeon and nurses stare at her and are about to ask who she is and how she got in here. A blue light comes out of her hands and into the hole healing her wound and reforming her heart as well as getting it to beat again. Nore then heals all remaining wounds. Remi would only need blood and rest. Petell and his team give her something that will restore her blood faster and then attach a machine that gave her blood by basically replicating exact copies of her blood cells. They bring her out. Nore also transfers some of her own energy to her to make her practically as if this never happened. The blood transfusion would take about an hour. Nore took a seat; even if she had the powers of someone in the EU she was still a human so that work drained her; it wasn't like she was like Mith and she had not been one of them for as long as Jim so she wasn't as use to doing this type of revival stuff... If she had to actually revive someone who was dead she probably would pass out afterwards. She just rested still showing no emotion. Petell and his team are amazed by the repair work and say that as long as there is no infections and the blood transfers properly she can be released the next day.

 

Aidan walked in, orange juice and cookies in hand. He offered them to Nore as he sat down next to her. "I really appreciate it. Let me know if you need anything." He said respectfully.

 

Nore took the food and drink thankfully and with precision, courteousness, good manners and a shyness she slowly ate and drank. She also observed Remi and after finishing her food she said "The one true thing that I actually want no one can give me back... I want my daughter to be able to live her life and I want my husband back... People say things dull with time... Losing a child doesn't."

 

"No, death doesn't." Aidan said, resting a hand on hers. "i cannot imagine losing Ayasha, my daughter, and yet it's a constant thought in my head these days. My condolences for your loss."

 

"Cherish those you love because eventually either one of  you might no longer be." She said as she stood. "I believe she will wake up soon." He gets a VX message. "If you need me feel free to reach out." She then disappears.

 

Aidan wondered about the poofing but shook the thought off. He asked a nearby nurse when he would be able to see Sumire.

 

Remi soon starts to stir as the nurse took him into recovery. Another gift Nore gave; the transfussion finished faster than normal; it was like she sped up the device. The nurse huhooks it and checks her vitals. She should be fine. Remi looks around and is confused as to why she feels no pain and actually feels normal; wasn't she shot... Did medical really work that well....?

 

"Hey there sexy. You gave us quite the scare." Aidan said, smiling at her.

 

".... Why do I feel so... normal?" She asked as the nurse took some notes then left.

 

"You had some special help. I'll let you thank the person responible when I am satisfied with your recovery." he replied.

 

"What happened anyway?" She asked.

"Was anyone else hurt?"

 

"Slow down Sparky." He chuckled. In the heat of the action, he forgot to get himself checked out. "We're fine. We got what we needed and more. It's wasn't pretty but it's over."

 

"I see... I feel okay... I wanna spend time with you... we still have that date; don't we?" SHe asked as she tries to escape recovery.

 

He leaned in and kissed her. "You aren't getting out of it that easy."  He leaned in closer and whispered.  "I think I'll get on top though until you are better."

 

She laughs. "I really feel okay though... and yeah... you always are better on top..." She said as she returned the kiss. Petell comes in and scans her. "The blood transfusion is complete and you seem good enough to release... Whatever was done worked much better than even a gem would..." Sumire stares at Aidan and goes for her gem but can't find it. Petell looks over at Aidan. he comes back with gear and begins to heal him.

"Why didn't you get one of the nurses..." he scolds Aidan.

 

'What are you do....?" He offered, then remembered. "You were the focus. I honestly forgot. I was a bit entwined in your well being." Aidan said to Sumire.(edited)

"Been running on pure adrenaline." He sat down hard on the bed.(edited)

 

Petell finishes the repair work. "I tell you; you damn tactical people... Try not injuring yourselves... Anyway; on the condition you come in for an appointment first thing in the morning I will release you tonight. If you feel anything odd with your ticker IMMEDIATELY come back here... I'm not placing any restrictions on what you can do but you will be on medical leave for the next week." Petell told Remi. "Tomorrow's follow up will determine if its longer... Your heart was punctured through and through... Honestly the only reason you are still alive is your medic stopping you from  bleeding out your entire blood volume into the pavement. The stasis helped too... because you would have continued to pump blood out of your damaged heart if you hadn't been frozen."(edited)

 

Aidan tried to light the mood. "Doc, we ALWAYS try." He wanted to rub the area around his neck, but knew it would be a bad idea. ""Shall we away?" Aidan said to Sumire."

 

She nods and Petell gives Aidan a hypo if his pain gets worse. Sumire picks up here gear and has it sent to Aidan's quarters as right now she was just in  hospital clothes.

 

Aidan taps his com.  Transporter room. Site to site transport. Two to beam to my quarters." Aidan said.

They arrived shortly and he said. "Privledge of rank" A grin going across his face.

 

She kisses him putting her arms around him as she just drops the gown. She had nothing on under it what with surgery and all. "I feel like a shower... then we can do whatever... I mean what with being cut open and shot and being covered in  your own blood... sort of requires a shower..." She said making light of the situation after the fact.

 

"Well damn it, I just can't argue with that kind of logic." Aidan said, pulling her into a tight embrace. He didn't want to let go of the kiss or her.

 

She holds the kiss and just guides them to the bathroom still holding him. She takes a moment to breathe then says "Get undressed; nobody said we have to stop but I am taking a shower too..." She then kissed him again deeply and passionately feeling something deep inside her seem more clear with him especially with his care after her near death experience.

 

Aidan vx'ed into skivvies and t-shirt, then stripped those off as well. Spending several long minutes getting wet and thoroughly exploring every inch of each other's mouths, he finally grabbed a pair of soft skin scrubbies and some peppermint soap. He poured a generous amount on the scrubbies and started working her skin into a lather.

"I'm not proud of my behavior after you were injured. I was fighting not to glass the whole place. I still want to. " Aidan said honestly.

 

Sumire couldn't resist kissing him or having her tongue explore his mouth. She found her eyes get lost inside of his and felt the warm water cover her body. He then started to cover her in soap and lather. She could feel the day's issues instantly be flushed away by this and she could feel herself falling for him even more as she held him close. "The thing that matters is that  you didn't; everyone has moments of weakness especially for those they care about... You made the right choice and thats what matters."

 

He scrubbed her back and then worked his way down to the legs. He let her shampoo and then rinse off. "I wish I shared your optimism. The long this fight goes on, the dark parts of my soul seem to get closer to the surface."

 

(you have tomorrow off right? I ask because I need to head off as I have to go to Social Security in the morning and we’re heading out early so I’m gonna have to get off soon) “ then I will help you hold them back... it’s not being optimistic it’s being realistic; you won’t hurt me and so if I have to I’ll even get in your way so you don’t do something stupid... you just need one thing that shield you from the darkness and you can see the light.” She said after he finished and had washed her hair. With him finishing the back of her legs all that was left with her front.

 

"Well, two things." he said reaching up for her boobs and grinning like a fool.

 

She pressed her chest against him as he reaches for her boobs. “Yes?”

 

"Great reasons to see the light" he teased before soaping himself up quickly and then rinsing off. He sat down in the shower seat and pulled down into his lap. He added more soap and spent several minutes exploring and soaping her front as he spooned her soft body in his lap, nibbling and chewing her ears, neck and feeling the growing pressure from junior.(edited)

 

As her cleaned her front she started to feel erotic and then he sat her on him as he sat. He’s in the opening of her neck and ears along with his hands exploring her body was making her more weak. She let out a moan as she rinsed her self satisfied that she was clean. She then let him continue... what she wanted was accomplished and now they could get to play. She soaped herself again her front and back letting him continue to feel her as she rubbed against him.
