The Hell That Is; Part 1

Mission: Season 2; Mission 2: It's Only Fun Until Someone Gets Hurt
Location: Aerowing Shuttle/Infernum XI
Timeline: October 18th 4566; Early Afternoon

Sumire and tactical Team One along with all their civilian personnel arrive at Infernum XI. As they enter the rather thin atmosphere it looks like the surface of earth about a million years ago. The lava and volcano covered landscape was only interrupted by three small terraformed biospheres. The shuttle lands near the one that was sent to them which was considered where the parts would be. Upon landing near the dome Sumire headed to go change into something more appropriate for this environment.

 
"Wow....Welcome to hell, much?" Seleni says.

 
"huh charming place" scott thinks out loud

 
"Traveling the river styx" Remi said as she came back in. (edited)

 
Aidan is already in power armor, putting on the helmet, but not sealing it. Ayasha came up behind, her med kit attached at her side in similar fashion to her father."This has never been a pleasure cruise. It you were expecting Risa, you shoulda stayed home" he offered.

Seraphina had immediately headed to don power armor, knowing it would be needed for this environment. She had been trained a while back on how to operate PA, and today seemed to be the day she would put it to use. After donning the armor, she gives it a few movement tests.

Satisfied she did her long golden hair into a bun and put on her helmet.

"Angels and hell don't mix, so hopefully we can make this quick.", sera threw in as she joined the others. (edited)


scott dons his basic light armoured suit with sensors to gather reading like any good selfrespecting mad scientist would have


Azazel and Chandra relax and remain within the lounge as instructed.


Aidan walked into the lounge, a large bag in hand. "Merry Christmas Kyle. This is type 2 power armor. He pulled out the sweat/wet suit material. "Put this on first, and then start snapping the pieces over the top. Get a move on. Time to see how it's done in this century."


Azazel nodded, getting up and kissing Chandra on the forehead, “Be back in a jiffy.” He said smiling then putting on the power armor as quickly as possible.


Remi loads herself with her sidearm and a set of gems along with a force saber. She then waits for the group in the outside the airlock.


Scott says hello to remi before mumbling about what it would take to make a volcano erupt


Sera joins her and Scotty armed with a service pistol and sword.


Ayasha stayed with Kyle while Aidan moved to the armory. Pulling a light machine gun from the rack, he loaded and grabbed two spare canvas magazines and slide his gemmed pistol into it's holster. Lastly his Grosse Messer into the back scabbard. He snagged an assualt rifle and bandolier of mags. Walking back to the lounge, he held out the rifle. "If you shoot before I do. Prepare for a reckoning." Lastly he handed Kyle his bronze swords. (edited)


Remi VX'es Seleni "Get your gear and come to the airlock; we could use your adorableness to cover our ass..." She teased.


Azazel took his weapons and nodded. “I’ll be a good boy.” He said chuckling.
 

Scott feels a little bored and plays a game of pong

 
"Eh...Sure. It's not like sitting around is any fun." Seleni replies, getting off the pilot's chair. Heading down to the lounge, she sees Aidan give the rifle and swords to Kyle. "Are you sure that those swords will last here?" She asks as she herself heads to the armory to gear up.

 
Once Seleni gets her armor and such together Remi says "Alright so we are going to be meeting with a local contact to get the components for our weapon... Reports from intelligence said there were bugs in this sector... We didn't detect any here before arriving but that doesn't mean anything... The three small colonies here are literally nothing of importance so unless we have another shitfest like last mission we should be good; any questions?" She asked.

 
“If they break, I’ll make more.” He said simply with a joyous tone. He was eager to just get involved.

 
"Glass swords. Novel idea." Aidan said rolling his eyes.

 
Remi if all goes bad am I allowed to blow stuff up with some cecis?

 
"You brought... them.... how; where did you store them... This shuttle isn't exactly big..."

 
Oh I didnt bring em but I can call them from my bunker systems
I always keep the watcher network watching me if I dont have a ceci with me...in fact where is she she usually is with me.

 
Ceci walks in to the room and waits.

 
Oh there you are sweetie

 
"This planet is too hot." She whines indirectly warning everyone of the planets high temperature; though everyone already knew this.

 
“Thanks Captain Obvious, Really sheds important light on the situation at hand.” Azazel said chuckling.

 
"Be polite." Seleni says to Azazel.

 
"You're protected in armor." Aidan pointed out. "She isn't" (edited)

 
"Don't be mean to the little girl robot... She is only here at the behest of her insane master..." remi replies. (edited)

 
Insane....yes master...nope more like daddy

 
Seleni gently pats Ceci's head. "Maybe you can stay here and protect the ship?" she asks her.

 
"Are we all ready boys and girls?" Aidan asked. "Time to make the doughnuts and earn our pay." (edited)

 
remi shrugs.

 
"All good here." Seleni says.

 
"What's a doughnut?", Sera asked.

 
"Never mind." Aidan said.

 
"So are we good?" Remi asked the group.

 
Ceci if I need you to call in some of the onyx cecis if we get into combat

 
Ceci nods. "I can call them daddy... but outside is too hot for me."

As everyone says they are ready they go into the airlock and head outside. It his hundreds of degrees outside. The group begins their trek to the colony. (edited)

 
"So who's idea is it to make a colony on Hell?" Seleni asks as they walk.

 
Someone that needs to take a walk outside an airlock without an ev suit

 
As the group is moving toward the colony a round hits Aidan behind and electrically shocks him into unconscious. As this happens two heavy armor units appear and 10 men in black powered suits appear surrounding the group. "Freeze!" They demand.

 
"And who are you if we may ask?" Asks scott (edited)

 
"Ah.....What the hell.....?" Seleni says, confused and stunnedd.

 
 
Ayasha screamed when Aidan went down at the shot. She reached his side at the moment the strangers yelled. "I've got to treat him!"

 
As Scott and Seleni ask who they are. One of the men in the black armor says "We are with the Federation Penal Service's Special Security Service. You have entered a restricted area. Any attempt to continue further will result in arrest and punishment." One of the others Aims at Ayasha. Remi gets in the way. "Stop!" The groups guns train on the others. Remi then says. "Sumire Rembrant with Trinity's Tactical Operations Team One... We are here on a mission." "Your mission is none of our concern... Leave or be detained. This is your final warning."

 
 
Ayasha scanned the armor and linked into his suit. The nanobots had already started their work, the suit sealing the damage near his neck, the joint suffered some damage, only the higher grade officer suit saved his life.

 
Maybe it's time to scare em with a few cecis....sweetie I wants 6 queens on our location now scott comms the shuttle (edited)

 
"I guess we take a detour?" Seleni says.

 
"He's as stable as I can make him for the moment." Ayasha said, fighting back the tears, (edited)

 
As Ceci sends the request she gets an error from her counterparts about not enough energy to travel the distance. She informs Scott she cannot send help due to them being too far away from the city ship.

 
"Someone's carrying him back." Seleni says looking at Aidan. "I'm way too small to carry him."

 
Sumire nodded. "Same."
 
Aidan comes to, taking in the situation. "Johnson, stand down. That's an order." he coughs out. (edited)

The leader of the team then says. "You have overstayed your welcome. You have ten seconds to leave or we will be forced to be less than hospitable."


Sitting up, Aidan bluffs. "Look, we aren't here to cause any trouble. I am Colonel Aidan Thornton. XO of the entire Trinity Fleet. IF you want to look up, we have a dreadnought carrier supporting us. If any harm comes to us, the rest of the fleet comes back. Your move."


He calls back to his command and their radar officer informs them that there is indeed a Trinity carrier and orbit. The commander then seems to change his tune. "What can we do for you Trinity types then... This Prison is not exactly on the beaten path... We hold only the highest priority most vile criminals here."


"I'm just the man in charge. I'll let the eggheads and brains tell you that part." Aidan offered.


His men lower their weapon as a female figure in power armor comes over on a sort of hoverboard holding a rather nice looking sniper of some kind. Remi then says. "We are here to collect electronics components." "The other colony we had operating a prison that was a secondary facility to our own was shut down... Here are the coordinates. It is abandoned so you can take the parts and then leave our planet. Miss Zelora and Mister Edwards can escort you." the commander said ordering the rest of his men to return to their base as he made sure they moved away from the prison.


Aidan removed a tube of silver paste, slathering it over the damaged area and setting a patching tape over it. The microbots would be able to keep it sealed and functional. A full repair could wait. "Let's go people." he said standing up. (edited)


Remi nods and heading with the two prison guards toward the abandoned prison.


"Right. Off we go, then." Seleni says.
