Mission: Season 2; Mission 3: We All Know What to Do; Let’s Not Do That…
Location: City-Ship; Command Center; Sumire's Office
Timeline: October 28th 4566; Morning

After the briefing and as they were about to go on their date an alarm goes off. "Command Staff to Control. All combat personnel to stations. AMC and fighter wings scramble."
remi looks at him. "Let me guess... this happened with you and Yuka all the time..."


As she walked beside him, he grabbed a handful of her butt before the door opened "We learned to grab life where we could, but yes." Aidan offered

"So what you are saying is once this is dealt with delay deployment until tomorrow for security reasons and... take the time to celebrate... how charming..." She zinged as the two entered Control. Godwhin before she could speak said. "Unknown slipstream exit point... the signals inside match the swarm." "So they want to fight us at the Aloris Capital... with all of the Aloris Military here... that seems like a stupid move... Could be something more.. would you concur General?"

"Given the history of screwing with us, anything is possible." Aidan replied. "Time to earn the paycheck. How do we hurt them the most?" (edited)

"Blow up the slipstream access point." Sumire said. Godwhin turned to her. "That could kill us..." "And... or do you think they would expect that... okay... Then fire a dampening field around our entire fleet. Disable us and them..." "Their ships are biological."
"You just answered your own question... give them a disease." She said.(edited)
"Use a bioweapon; be the scum of the galaxy... there aren't any animal rights groups who will rage about killing an army of bugs."
She continued

"A nova bomb. Fuck the war crimes, but do we have a deployable bioweapon?" Aidan asked.

"We would also wipe out the capital of an allied empire." Godwhin said. Remi then sighed and said. ""Make a net... Put all the Ceci drones around the slipstream exit make a sort of iris like how the gates close... have them reenter normal space with their shields down smashing into a shield." Sumire said.

"I like it. Let's bring up a few support ships in case a few stragglers get away." Aidan said.

Remi nods at Aidan. "Alright... So then Mr. Godwhin contact the Sashi, Millennium and Dawn... have them lead the fleet into battle. lets also prepare the Ceci network to make the shield." The little girl Ceci appears in the room. "You want to make big net?" She asked expanding her hands out like a net. Remi nodded and the little android instructs all her little drones to surround the portal and begin constructing the shield net. "YAY NET DEATH!!!" The little girl says happily nearly screaming. Godwhin ignores the small child's outburst knowing what she actually was.

Seleni arrives where they all are. "I guess Dawn and I should head back to our respective ships. It would make things easier for us." she says as gives Ceci a lollipop. (edited)

remi nods.
The small android takes the lollipop and begins to nom it whilist sending her drones to build a shield.

footsteps are heard outside of the command room as the situation seems to slowly tense up as Warren's shouting is heard-- Flennel's signature is entered into the door, open the door as warren is spastically hurried and scrambled in, covered in different forms of sensors as flennel hurried behind him holding the console that controlled in, as she hurriedly plugged countless amounts of wires into the center console of the command room, warren then saying in a rushed voice of urgency "guys.." his face shows a tinge of despair (edited)

"Very well. I will take my leave." Seleni says as she turns and leaves the deck, headed towards the hanger.

Remi looks over at Flan. "So that is where you have been helping him tinker.... whats up?" Remi asked. Godwhin was going to reprimand them for the sudden intrusion but with his CO just letting it happen and there seeming to be some urgency he doesn't.

Flennel helping grant warren access to many sensors and cores of the city she looks up to remi "Rem... This Portal.. It isn't being kept open by the person manipulating those things.." she's showing more emotion than would be comfortable "The Scourge.. they're keeping the rip open... and its widening slowly"

"The lead Swarm bug?" Godwhin asked.

Warren then entranced said frantically as he stared into the wall, obviouslly accessing different arrays of sensories "You have no idea... This thing is a big one.. I can feel it comin' its bigger than we ever thought... that shield ain't gonna hold either..

The little android was too interested in her lolli to respond that her shield would be broken.

he then followed up with "If you ever heard of the phrase "dancing with the devil." well.. we gotta get dancin'.."

The Murasashi and Ardent Dawn move into position in front of the city.

"What do you mean?" remi asked.

warren looks to remi with a face that's losing hope as time goes by "Its like a Leviathan.. It's a fuckin' moon sized monster maybe bigger.. it wasn't CLOSE to this size when it attacked the colonies.."
Flan then follows up "Warren has a feeling of impending doom in his mind.. I'm attaching his neuro network to all sensors and core of the ship.. mainly the chrono-powered cores.."
Warren then advising "Get your big guns out now. and get ready to defend.. because when that THING is knockin' on that door, It's literally Hell where we'll be."

Flan then answers back with a determined cold look on her face "even the fleet.. the numbers are off the charts.. the amount that attacked earth doesnt even hold a candle to what's waiting to come.." (edited)
Warren straining as a massive influx of sensory information comes in waves, learned more than he possibly could "Flennel.. the thing we talked about.. we might have to execute that plan.."

Godwhin then says. "The nearest task force to support us would be... Well to put it bluntly General, Captain... Reinforcements would not arrive in time. Even the Aloris military wouldn't arrive... and this is me not knowing the enemy numbers... 12 ships cant fight a fleet." "So then what do we do?" Remi looked to Aidan while also keeping focus on Flan. Remi also contacts teh ODM ships; they move in front of the icty as well creating a line.
"Launch all other support ships; give the citizens orders to go to the shelters." Remi told Godwhin whom nods and gives the orders.

Warren then answers "we need to fend them off.. use whatever we got!" he finished in a stressed and fighting voice

The tactical officer activates the probability core and it creates a sealed metal wall and shield around the city. "Probability core is active."
The AI says.

Flennel looks to Remi "Warren figured out that this must be a final preemptive strike, theyre trying to wipe us out before we give them any fight.."

"So... we fight and die then." remi said.

warren then follows up with "stuck in the pit of hell with demons surroundin' us.."

By this point Ceci also deployed all her other queens which all connected together to make a giant laser.

"Aghhh!!" warren following to his knees grabbing his helmet as surges of info going in

The bugs begin ramming into the shield.
Some are killed but over time the shield weakens.

flennel then says "warren will be out of commission for now, he's routed all the ship's sensors to seeing beyond what anyone can...-- Remi.. I need all the Water Gems we have.. the biggest ones... I need them ready to be warped into space to the top of the city's dome.. I'll need a high point"

Murasashi launches her complement of fighters and two booms can be heard as her rail cannons fire into the swarm of bugs.

The Iris and Freedom deploy their fighters and mechs and guard the Aloris homeworld. its security forces to the same.

Remi nods and sents Mimi a message. She and her other AC team members get the gems ready to transport. they even combine some together to make giant gems.


"Not sure if I'm pick this up right....but there seems to be a rather large....thing on the other side of this rift" Seleni says.

Flennel said "I have a plan.. Incase we cant handle this... Which is why Warren is using all the city's chrono tech.... to confirm.."

One of the bugs breaks through the shield.
More follow through that hole and start breaking out into the fleet.
The Ceci laser destroys them
but the shield will fail at any moment as the portal is literally filled with a wall of bugs coming out smashing into the shield.
The massive purely epic number of bugs now smashing into the shield was sobering to say the least.

"Damn.....I wish Secular were here...." Seleni mutters to herself. "At this rate our defenses have a good probability rate that they will be overrun." Dawn comments casually.

Just then the shiled fails

"Gaghh!!" warren yells out in pain then getting the words out "Interceptors.. now.. fend them off.. Keep coms active.. Remi.. Get flennel to the highest point on the ship fast.. the chrono calculations almost complete.. you guys are gonna get ready for goin' out into space.. Bring the gems.."

and the massive amoutn og bugs begins to approach.
Remi nods as h er powered suit appears on her and shem goes up to Flan grabbing he rhand. The two girls teleport to outside of the probabily core on the very top of the city.

The Murasashi and Ardent Dawn light up as their various weapons open fire on the swarm. Another two booms as Murasashi's rail cannons fire again.

The mechs and fighters begin engaging in an epic space battle against the Scourge fleet.

Flennel "Remi.. I'm scared... It should all be fine when we have the gems out.." she said with a sad yet determined face "I'll make sure you're safe.. you're all safe"-- as comms were interrupted by Warren "I have the calculations complete!!" he's says completely drained of mental strain "We're all gonna die... with all the guns and fire power we have... We're all as good as gone... we can't DESTROY it... but we can find a way.. just get those gems up there.."
The portal sudden stretches to a freightening large size

"I'm not going to let anyone just sacrifice themselves." Remi said. Just then Mimi and three scientists appeared out next to them. The scientists look out and begin speaking in some strange language. Gems appear out in space in various positions.

large tentacles and appendages grabbing the edges of it as a indescribable amount of scourge coming out as it tears open

It seems the Alchemy Commission people understand what Warren and Flan what to do.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING?!" Seleni shouts in shock.

flan stares in awe, unable to move

Mimi puts a shield around Flan and Remi so they can breathe. (edited)
The Providence joins the fleet fighting the bugs especially with the giant one here.
More of the giant... apparent master or queen bug starts to come through fully.

Warren says "dear god.." in a sorrowful voice into comms.. "Rail guns dammit! Unleash hell on that thing! Tear it down ta' size!

"They're still cycling." Seleni responds. "Give me.....a moment or two"

The city's automated defense systems begin to fire at the giant bug but there is not even a dent.

Murasashi's two rail cannons fire again at the massive creature after a short while.

Flennel then snapping out responding Syncing up energies with the massive sized gems.. as the glow with large amounts of power.. then firing off like siege ranged artillery, practically firing comets at the big apocalyptic creature

Sigmund launches two Mastiff shuttles at the giant bug. The interiors filled with torpedoes He sets the twin impulse drives both to overload on impact with the mega-bug. (edited)

"All units protect the gems." One of the ODM Captains says as he guides his ship into the middle of the bugs. "For the Princess..." That ship self destructs taking with it a bunch of the medium sized bugs.

Warren then gives out orders through comms "Guys.. this won't be enough..! focus on pushing them back! Get them to a smaller crowd.. Flennel y'know what to do.. chances are 99% that you'll have to execute the original plan.."

The Scientists with the AC finish setting the gems into position. They disappear leaving their commander with Remi and Flan.

"Maintain formation and do not break!" Seleni yells at the other ODM ships. "Dawn, take position above and behind me." She commands.

3/4 out the portal.. the massive, ever more massive bug slowly inches out, covering up the entire horizon, slowly inching out (edited)

A bunch of fighters end up being destroyed as do a bunch of mechs.

the portal beginning to close as the.. Scourge Lord comes through fully

Sigmund appears nearby his avatar popping in. "I have a suggestion. While I don't like the idea, if the Providence where to warp into the mega-bug, my calculations suggest that it would tip the scales in our favor."

Suddenly another portal opens behind the cityship and a few ships of unknown origin come out. These ships fill the positions that the bugs broke in the line. The ships appear crewless.

the deep bass rumbles throughout everyone as it roars, its intensive power palpable


"Are you sure about this?" Dawn asks Seleni, who responds, "Whatever they're planning, if it doesn't work then we might have to resort to it." "Very well. If you insist." Dawn says, taking up the position Seleni mentioned.

warren yelling out in comms "Its almost ready!! Coral them! Push them back into a smaller crowd, forget.. about the big one.. push the small ones as close as you can get into the big bastard!"

"captain; the Alrois Alliance has said Lady Naomi will arrive shortly." Godwhin told Remi.
The ODM, Trinity and unknown ships begin to force the bugs into a speciic region.

The Providence concentrates it's significant firepower on mopping up any stragglers.

Flennel then stares dead pinned at the massive creature as she begins to glow a bright blue, pulling in massive, ever growing amounts of energy from the extreme large boulder-like asteroids of gems

A few staggling bugs end up getting destroyed by the Aloris fleet. One though manages to get to the city and starts trying to break through the probabiliy core's shield. Mimi sighs as she pulls out her pistols with gems in them. She starts shooting at the bug.
Remi stares at her glowing. Since they have an atmosphere thanks to Mimi Remi removes her helmet. She grabs Flan.

where she stands ice forms from the sheer cold, planting her in place as she has every blue gem onboard orbiting around her.. charging her with a extremely unsafe, gargantuan amounts of blue energy she then feels a hand
"Remi... Don't... Don't be scared!... I know what to do.. This was the only way..!" she yelled out to her tears flowing from her eyes as an intense expression of determination and anger filled her face
She begins glowing brighter and brighter as the Giant Gems flowed with large amounts of power filling flan to absurd and unsafe levels.. nearing passing a point of no return..

"Your gunna leave me... just like everyone else does..." Remi said to her as her emotions seemed to turn to a combination of sadness and anger. She holds in expressing her emotions though as she tries to be there for her.
Remi puts her own energy into the gems but due to how weak she is with her own injuries the suit actually stops her from continuing to do this.

"Well, what ever you're gunna do do it fast!" Seleni says. "I don't know if we can keep this thing contained"

she stood in silence as she charged.. not replying warren cuts into comms saying.. "Im sorry everybody.. Ignore remi's pleads.. we'll make it up to 'er somehow.. if we want to live... we fire everything we got on flennels mark.. charge everythin'..."


The ODM ships and the rest of the fleet acknowledge.


"Overcharging cannons, stand by." Seleni says.
The Murasashi's engines shut down as the cannons start to glow.


the beast and its fleet begins to waver but still unrelentlessly charging slowly, the massive temperature drop around the massive inflow of energy instantly freezes the bugs that get near


The Ceci drones all connect together making one huge laser cannon.
More mechs and fighters get destroyed.
"You will die...." The giant bug telepathically tells all the people. "We are greater than you can ever imagine; your galaxy is ours!"
"Your resistance only prolongs your suffering."


"Go to hell, ya ugly shit." Seleni growls.

"Perish"



Flennel glowing brighter yet brighter, the overflow of energy coming from the gems is astounding, a massive inpour of coldness of photons flood into flan.. her skin and everything that protects her from the cold darkness of space rips off as she stands as a glowing light figure.. yet.. she's still alive.. withstanding the harsh environment.. protected by the massive amounts of storing energy


"remi.." flennel says as shes charging in position


Remi seeing Flan be ripped apart by the gems and her whole self start being consumed; she starts to cry. "No... We can find another way... Please don't die.... I love you...."
"Your end is here; there is no chance of survival... just perish!"
The bug replies


"Don't be scared.. I'm doing this because its the only way.. Using the probability core.. we were never meant to live against this thing..." she says as tears blow back from the winds of the influx of energy surging through flan.. nearing impossibly cold temps..
"I'm changing the timeline foreseen by warren.." she said to Remi


"Fuck you. You're still pushovers in this galaxy as the ones from mine." Seleni responds to the bug.


"He saw us die.. we couldn't escape.. we couldn't fight it.. we died.. but I'm changing that timeline remi.." Flan replied.


"... I can't lose someone else... again..." Remi said as she falls to her knees and pulls a neckless out from her suit; two rings were on it. "You can't go... I"
Mimi kills the bug that got on the cityship. "Fucking hell these creatures... I can see why command assigned us here. Kira; this is one time we could have used your help."

The lead bug laughs. "This was only the begining little girl...." Taunting Seleni.


Flennels voice was heard in the the minds of everyone on board.. saying remi's name, seleni's name, Aiden.. yuka.. Everyone that she met, everyone that she knows resonated in this whole battlefield.. the Gems filled flennel nearly to her limit "its almost done.." flennel sorrowfully said


Remi starts to sob silently.
As she just stares at where flan was.


Flan looking back at remi and saying "Remi... I'm not leaving you... I've be here.. I'll be... gone for a while... you gave me everything, I've wanted, Everything I've felt.. No one is dying here.. You have to live on remi.. I'll gone.. for just.. a little while.."
her loud resonating voice shocked through the crew "fire!!"


The ODM, Ceci's and fleet follow the order and immediately fire.

Remi just stares at the light that has absorbed her. She looks crushed; like her world is gooing away. "Your just saying that... how will I... know... what ... will I..." She frowned.

the gems beginning to appear to glow along with flan as they seem to nearly overload with the amount of pouring energy.. "Remi.. I'm you're knight... I Swore this oath.. I don't know why I feel this.. But I wont.. be gone.."


Flan got in position before saying "Don't be sad that I'll be gone Remi... Be happy that.. we happened..." (edited)
she stares at the giant behemoth devouring the horizon ahead


The final comment made her actually more sad..


With a deafening crack-boom the rail cannons fire at the giant creature. "Take this and go to hell" Seleni says to the bug.


The leader bug telepathically transmits laughter to everyone.


kirin gets up from the sound of the crack-boom of the firing and rushes to the window to see what is going on


he sees an epic battle between the Aloris, ODM, Trinity and Swarm fleets.


with a loud battle-cry like scream flennel jumps off the city ship at a freightening speed, Shooting the the dark abyss, cutting through the darkness like a shooting star.. All the bugs, fighters and ships freeze as she shoots by them, on a dead course for the giant massive creature
the light enveloping the darkness of space in a blinding light shooting through like a like lance illuminating everything


kirin grabs his uniform and his gear that he normally have. His family sword, A side arm that collapses and the rock that has multiple gems in it. Kirin runs to the shuttle bay


shooting through space like the spear of gungnir she collides with the Giant Scourge Lord


The bug end up becoming frozen in time.


seemingly the surface of the creature beginning turning white, spreading across its face


Remi stares at the white light now coming from the frozen mass of bugs.


as it encroaches along the surface it grabs over the entire surface, cutting deep, as it glows brightly with a cold blue light, shining like a star
what was once a demonic creature now shines brilliantly
its quiet
Warren recovering, lying on the floor in pain
"I... I don't hear anything..." he says "It's not dead though.. I'll tell y'all that.."


Aidan, now in the upgraded power armor, stands near Sumire, not wanting to interfere in any personal moment but ready to take any action needed to save her.


"but its sealed good.. its tryin' to fight out of its slumber.. but.. its losing that battle.. she did it though.. damn girl changed our future.." Warren Said


Remi just stares at the space Flan once occupied. She felt broken apart; like a peice of her was gone.


a Fragment of ice floats infront of Remi
Pulsing and glowing brilliantly, like the most beautiful thing she's laid eyes on (edited)
she feels that its Ice that will never melt.. forged from the power of sheer will
it floats gently in front of her as remi feels.. a slight, slight reassurance from this crystal


She takes the crystal and feels a familiar presence from it. This causes her tears to continue but only briefly. She whispers. "I'll always love you."
"Thank you Flennel; my beloved."

Warren comms remi "sorry it had to be this way... if it means anythin' to ya... She was thinking of you the whole time we planned this.. She loved you somethin' fierce.."
